The wrestling world seems to be extremely split when it comes to the signing of Ronda Rousey to WWE. Many believe it to be a tremendous coup by the company and one that will generate a lot of interest and revenue for WWE. Some women within the company, namely the women who are having the spotlight taken away from them, are not too happy about The Rowdy One's arrival.
Two men who are of the belief that nothing but good can come of Rousey in WWE are Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair. The two wrestling legends reconnected recently in order to perform a unique Q&A together and once the fans had cleared out TMZ Sports asked the Hall of Famers a couple of questions of their own. Ronda Rousey was one of the main topics discussed.
The Hulkster spoke about a time he and Rousey joked about them sleeping together because the former UFC Bantamweight Champion used to sleep with her Hulk Hogan wrestling buddy. The Nature Boy discussed how nice a person she is and then shifted on to the possibility of a match between Rousey and his daughter Charlotte Flair.
The interviewer jokingly suggested that he doesn't think Rousey is ready for the SmackDown Women's Champion to which the two time WWE Hall of Famer replied 'that's what I told her'. Flair versus Rousey seems to be the obvious choice for The Rowdy One's first match in WWE, especially if it's going to take place at WrestleMania. Rousey will be signing on as a Raw Superstar for the time being though so it seems as if the pair of them will be kept apart for a little while yet.
Ric Flair has always been very involved in his daughter's wrestling career and once upon a time would accompany her to the ring for matches. If a dream match between her and Rousey does happen then it would probably be pretty special for not only Charlotte but also her opponent who has been a big fan of wrestling her entire life to have The Nature Boy at ringside.
