Ric Flair To Make First Post Surgery Appearance

Ric Flair's health scare shocked the wrestling world, but now he's on the mend and is making appearances!

Ric Flair will make his first public appearance since his health scare. It wasn't long ago when the Nature Boy was in critical condition in an Atlanta hospital after his organs failed him, causing doctors to place him in a medically induced coma. Miraculously Flair pulled through after undergoing a successful surgery on his colon, and it looks like he can start making public appearances soon.

That's right, the first event Flair will be featured in will take place Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017, in Atlanta, GA at the Heroes & Villains Fan Fest, according to Ringside News.

Shortly after his surgery, Flair announced he was moving on from the PR company that represented him through the crisis.  We still don't know why he made such a move.  We can only assume that he didn't like how they handled everything while he was knocking on death's door. His new agency has now quickly scheduled a time for him to meet his fans after a very difficult time in his life.

Flair recently admitted that the reason for the organ failure had to do with him abusing alcohol for several years. He's already told People magazine that he's given up drinking.

“I’ll never drink again,” Flair told People. “I never want to go through this again.”

Flair only had a 20 percent chance of pulling through during this recent incident. He's also cheated death in the past after being struck by lightning and surviving a plane crash. With Flair likely on his last life, it's not too late for him to change, and it's great to hear that he's given up drinking. While heavy drinking isn't good for anyone's health, neither is sleeping around with a lot of different women.

While heavy drinking isn't good for anyone's health, neither is sleeping around, which was another one of Flair's vices. In fact, he admitted recently that he's slept with over 10,000 women over the course of his life. It would be a miracle if he doesn't have at least one sexually transmitted disease. He's been married a total of four times and has four children as well.

Many pro football players have openly shown their love for Flair in the past. Atlanta Falcons' wide receiver Julio Jones wore custom Ric Flair cleats during this past Sunday's game, to honor him.

Now those are some great looking cleats.
