Charlotte finally won her very first SmackDown Women's Championship, defeating Natalya for the title just five days before the Survivor Series pay-per-view event. As such, Charlotte will now face Alexa Bliss in a champion vs. champion match.

But Charlotte's Championship victory was even sweeter, thanks to the unexpected return of her father, The Nature Boy Ric Flair:

And just like that, Flair has returned to WWE programming for the first time in 11 months. This is a huge turn of events, as Nature Boy was on life support in the hospital back in August, before doctors were able to perform a miracle that saved his life.

Charlotte's title victory also comes as a surprise to many. Rumors pegged Charlotte to win the title at Starrcade on Nov. 26th, where her father is expected to attend.

But there have been a lot of unforeseen changes heading into Survivor Series. Last week, AJ Styles defeated Jinder Mahal and became the new WWE Champion—while earning the right to face Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar.

WWE also announced a big match at Survivor Series just this Monday, with The New Day set to square off against The Shield. On top of that, Bray Wyatt "injured" Jason Jordan, which forced GM Kurt Angle to name Triple H as his replacement. Also, Raw didn't have its women's team complete until Bayley defeated Mickie James and Dana Brooke in a Triple Threat match to claim the final spot.

So Charlotte's title victory is just one of the many unforeseen title/match changes in the past seven days. Perhaps we'll soon learn more information as to why the WWE had her win it on SmackDown, rather than Starrcade in 12 days.

But what really matters is that The Nature Boy is back. Wooooooo!
