WWE has suspended Robert Roode and Primo for 30 days each due to the two of them violating the company's wellness policy.

On Sunday, WWE released four Superstars from the company. Luke Harper, Viktor and Konnor of The Ascension, and Sin Cara. Releasing talent in batches like this used to be the norm for WWE. However, it has been a while since we've seen it happen. There were rumors that more releases were yet to come, but as of yet, that rumor has not come to fruition.

It seems as if WWE has not only been clearing out talent it no longer has any use for but is also testing all of its Superstars. That's what the news breaking this afternoon would suggest anyway. WWE has revealed that it has suspended two of its Superstars for violations of the company's wellness policy.

Those two Superstars are Robert Roode and Primo, one half of the tag team The Colons. Since this is the first violation of the policy for both men, they will each serve 30-day suspensions, as was revealed via WWE's corporate site. Why the two of them have been suspended is yet to be revealed and going by previous suspensions, that information might never be made public.

In the past, fans have questioned how soon before a suspension is enforced WWE knew about the violation. Some previous suspensions have been issued at rather convenient times, normally when a Superstar has been written off of TV. That same question will be asked of Roode this time. The Glorious One was beaten to a pulp by Roman Reigns over a week ago and hasn't been seen since. Could that beatdown have been preparation for Roode to disappear for a month?

As for Primo, the Colon won't need the same treatment. He and his cousin Epico haven't competed in a match on WWE TV for more than a year, last making an appearance in a match at Survivor Series 2018 during the kickoff show. Since then the two of them have been competing for Primo's father's promotion in Puerto Rico. We would not be surprised if this suspension leads to The Colons being added to the recent list of released Superstars.
