At Elimination Chamber on Sunday night seven men battled it out for the opportunity to take on Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 34. While many fans would have been hoping for a swerve we wound up getting the result that most of us expected, a Roman Reigns win.

That means in the main event on April 8th in New Orleans we will finally get Reigns versus Lesnar II. The two men battled in the main main event three years ago where they were interrupted by a Seth Rollins Money In The Bank cash-in. The match was just starting to reach its final stages when The Architect ran in and stole the show. He also stole the opportunity from the men in the ring to find out which one of them was better.

Three years later and we will finally get the answer to that question. That's not the only significant thing about the match. Reigns and Lesnar's match at WrestleMania 31 marked the first time The Big Dog main evented The Show Of Shows. A year later he did it again when he beat Triple H for the WWE Championship and last year marked his third WrestleMania main event in a run with a win over The Undertaker.

When Reigns headlines his fourth straight WrestleMania in six weeks time then he will be breathing extremely rare air. The only other Superstar to achieve that feat is Hulk Hogan who main evented WrestleManias V, VI, VII and VIII. There is an argument to be made that The Hulkster actually headlined five straight Manias since he challenged and defeated Yokozuna after the true main event at WrestleMania IX.

Whether you are of the belief that Hogan headlined four or five straight WrestleManias, it doesn't take away from the fact that Roman Reigns is about to be right up there with him. Plus considering the run The Big Dog is on he will likely continue to appear in the main events of future WrestleManias and could even eclipse The Hulkster's record, whether it's four or five WrestleMania main events in a row.
