Roman Reigns was recently alleged as part of a steroid ring by jailed dealer Richard Rodriguez - a gym owner in Miami who distributed illegal products from China to some of his clients.

Rodriguez made the allegations while doing a telephone interview with YouTube documentary filmmaker, Johny Bravo - claiming that he was introduced to Reigns through an informant.

Rodriguez claimed that Reigns and actors Mark Wahlberg and Josh Duhamel were among those who took steroids. Reigns recently spoke to PWInsider and released a statement on the allegations:

"I have never heard of Richard Rodriguez or Wellness Fitness Nutrition. I learned from the mistake I made nearly two years ago and paid the penalty for it. Since then, I've passed 11 tests as part of WWE’s independent drug testing program."

Reigns received a 30-day suspension for violating the WWE's wellness policy in 2016 after being caught taking Adderall - a substance used by many athletes that treats narcolepsy and ADHD. He apologized for his actions, took responsibility and has stayed out of trouble since.

Though the full details haven't come out, it's hard to envision why Reigns would get involved in something that could ruin his career. The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion is being pushed as the face of the company, and could possibly headline his fourth consecutive WrestleMania event.

Reigns has one documented arrest, which happened in Florida back in 2010. Reigns was arrested for affray, intoxication, unlawful assembly and disorderly conduct. He was ordered to pay $500 for each offence. He has since stayed out of trouble with the law.

It's unknown at this time if WWE or authorities will look into Reigns as having any involvement. We'll be sure to update you on any further information and details in this case.
