After spending several months away from WWE programming, Roman Reigns made a shocking return in the main event of SummerSlam, 2020, taking out Braun Strowman and 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt with a brutal attack after the match. The show went off the air with Reigns holding the Universal Championship high, making his intentions perfectly clear.

The Big Dog immediately injected Smackdown's main-event scene with a great deal of excitement. Reigns looked absolutely fantastic and excitement is high for his return. As good as it is to have him back, fans want to see him face off against certain wrestlers over others.

10 Want: AJ Styles

AJ Styles made the move back to Smackdown and quickly won the Intercontinental Championship. Even though he recently lost the gold to Jeff Hardy, Styles is still one of the biggest stars on the blue brand, and a feud with Reigns is just too good to pass up.

The pair have met in the past, for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, and they worked fantastic matches for the gold. Together, Reigns and Styles can recreate that magic, this time on the blue brand, and give fans the marquee feud they deserve.

9 Don't Want: Baron Corbin

Whether fans would like to admit it or not, Baron Corbin is one of WWE's biggest heels. He can get pretty much anyone over just by the sheer virtue of how much fans detest him. The promotion may be tempted to pair Corbin up with Reigns to get his latest babyface run over with fans.

Corbin and Reigns have feuded before and it was an absolute drag. Not only would it be a pain for fans to endure, odds are that Reigns would end up losing whatever momentum he has after making such an unexpected return to the ring.

8 Want: Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan is one of WWE's most gifted performers but has seen his on-screen role greatly diminish in recent months. While he has been behind the push of other smaller wrestlers like Gran Metalik and Chad Gable, creative hasn't done anything interesting with Bryan in a while.

Bryan and Reigns would make perfect opponents; not only do they have great chemistry in the ring, but the storyline also writes itself as well. Reigns is going to be the Universal Champion sooner rather than later, and that's the only championship Bryan hasn't won during his time with WWE.

7 Don't Want: Sheamus

Since returning to single's competition, WWE has Sheamus as one of Friday Night Smackdown's bigger heels. The Irishman is at his best when he's playing a bad guy, but WWE has failed to book him in a compelling feud so far.

Fans know that he can put on a hard-hitting match with Roman Reigns, but they have crossed paths on multiple occasions in the past, and the whole League of Nations stuff has left a sour taste in fans' mouths. No one in the WWE Universe wants to see them feud again, and it would probably be for the best if they stayed away from each other after Reigns' return to programming.

6 Want: Matt Riddle

Matt Riddle made a strong impression on fans when he beat AJ Styles in his debut match on Friday Night Smackdown. Fans thought that he would end up feuding with Styles for the Intercontinental Championship, but WWE shifted things around, putting him into a feud with Baron Corbin instead. Regardless, Riddle's debut opened up a number of possibilities for WWE.

WWE has big plans for Riddle on Smackdown, and a feud with Reigns would legitimize him as a main-event star. Riddle is fantastic in the ring and would tear the house down with Reigns. Even if he doesn't win the feud, Riddle could come out of it looking strong and with a ton of momentum. It would also be a fresh match-up, and that is always a good thing, especially in the main event.

5 Don't Want: Brock Lesnar

WWE always chooses to feature Brock Lesnar in marquee storylines when he is present on programming, to make the most of his star power and mainstream appeal. In the past, WWE has had him repeatedly face-off with Roman Reigns in the ring and fans are sick of it.

Their feud for the Universal Championship was boring and everyone has had more than enough of Reigns vs. Lesnar. Now that Reigns is back and Lesnar is expected to return soon as well, WWE must keep these two apart for the foreseeable future, to avoid fan criticism and backlash.

4 Want: Big E

Big E has spent most of his main roster run as a part of the New Day. With Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston both on the shelf, they have given Big E their blessing to go on and have a singles run.

He is certainly championship material and has all the tools necessary to be a main-event star. A feud with Roman Reigns would go a long way towards giving Big E the spotlight he deserves while pitting him against one of WWE's biggest stars. It would also be a fresh match-up, featuring two powerhouses who could be central to the success of Smackdown for months to come.

3 Don't Want: Sami Zayn

Despite never getting a proper run in the main event, Sami Zayn has proven himself to be one of Smackdown's biggest heels. As the leader of the Artist Collective, Zayn was consistently featured on the blue brand.

When he returns, the possibility of him feuding with Roman Reigns is exciting on paper, but it should not happen. There is no way that Zayn will go over in a feud with Reigns, which means that The Big Dog will end up taking him out, along with Nakamura and Cesaro too. It would do a great deal of damage to one of WWE's more promising factions, and fan sentiment would turn against Reigns once more, which is why they don't want to see this feud happen.

2 Want: Keith Lee

Survivor Series turned Keith Lee into an absolute star. He had a fantastic showing in the multi-man elimination match, taking out Seth Rollins and almost eliminating Roman Reigns as well. They had great chemistry and the fan reaction was absolutely electric.

This is a feud that absolutely needs to happen down the line, not only because it will fantastic, but because fans are dying to see it as well. With Lee making the official move to Raw, booking this feud in the near future is a very real possibility, and it is absolutely something the fans deserve to see.

1 Don't Want: 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt vs. Roman Reigns will happen. After all, they are the biggest stars on Smackdown and have been regularly featured in the Universal Championship scene. But fans do not want this feud to happen for one reason; Reigns will go over. After the Goldberg debacle, WWE has some major course correction to do with Wyatt.

A feud with Reigns would only see the Big Dog set Wyatt back some more. Fans don't want to see The Fiend lose clean again, and they will inevitably turn against Reigns if this feud does happen in earnest. It's a lose-lose situation.
