Ronda Rousey has been on hiatus since WrestleMania 35, having announced an "impregnation vacation" with husband Travis Browne.

There aren't any clear possible hints as to when Rousey could wrestle again, but barring any surprises, we won't be seeing her return for next month's Royal Rumble event in Houston.

But despite the lack of indicators that Rousey could be back in very short time, she's currently listed as the favorite to win the 2020 women's Royal Rumble. Skybet (h/t Ringside News), has Rousey at 3/10 odds to win it all.

After the former Raw Women's Champion, Shayna Baszler - another former UFC star - carries the highest odds at 5/10, followed by Kairi Sane at 6/10 and Charlotte Flair at 9/10.

Rousey, of course, made her official WWE debut following the conclusion of the first ever women's Royal Rumble in 2018 - after Asuka had won it. Rousey pointed at the WrestleMania sign to send a message, and she wound up pairing with Kurt Angle in a tag team match against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, where they emerged victorious.

Most years, we get to see a handful of surprise Royal Rumble entries, so for all we know, Rousey will be making an appearance at the event. But is she about to return on a full-time basis again? That seems like a stretch right now, but if that's the case, WWE is sure doing a good job in keeping it a secret up to this point.

Rousey has unfinished business with Lynch, who defeated her (and Charlotte) in the main event of WrestleMania 35. It marked Rousey's first clean loss in WWE, but the door has since been left open for another showdown against "The Man."

Don't Expect Rousey To Win The Rumble

There just isn't enough reason to believe that Rousey will be back in a month to win the first women's Royal Rumble. We would likely know by now if she was preparing for a return in the immediate future. But this is the WWE, and you have to always expect the unexpected. Maybe there is a major surprise in store for all of us at the Royal Rumble, but we'll just have to wait and see how it plays out.
