Former UFC star Ronda Rousey really kicked off her WWE wrestling career with a bang during her first ever match at WrestleMania 34 this past weekend, as she defeated both Triple H and Stephanie McMahon alongside her tag-team partner Kurt Angle.

It's now clear that Rousey belongs in the world of wrestling and isn't a gimmick signing by the company. She could very well be an up and coming star for WWE.

As strong as Rousey is inside the ring, she's just like any of us and that wasn't more apparent then during her recent interview with Tyler Henry of Hollywood Medium as opened up about her father's suicide.

"Well, my dad, he had broke his back and he happened to have a really rare blood disorder that kept him from healing, similar to hemophilia. It doesn't allow you to clot your blood," Ronda explains.

Despite Rousey's father undergoing platelet transfusions and other procedures, unfortunately his health continued to decline and it didn't seem like he had a chance to get better. So he decided to take his own life, instead of dealing with the pain that he was forced to cope with.

"My dad decided to take matters into his own hands 'cause he was in a huge amount of pain every day. He couldn't work anymore. He felt like he was just a drag on the family. He was very much the person who takes care of everyone. He drove his car out and he put a hose in the exhaust," Ronda reveals.

With Rousey only being eight years-old when her father passed, she says that she would tell herself that he was away on a business trip and that he would return at some point.

"I remember that when he passed, I would try to just tell myself that he was on a business trip and he'd be back and that was my way to cope with it," she says with tears in her eyes. "I wouldn't be crying unless he was awesome. He was the best."

Having a parent pass away is hard for any kid around the age of eight, but to know that your parent committed suicide had to make things even harder for Rousey.

I would imagine that the pain that Rousey has from her losing her father at such a young age, motivated her her to become a great UFC fighter and now potential star within WWE.

When it comes to Rousey's new job with WWE, it's going to be interesting to see what kind of plans the company has in store for her now that her first major event and first ever match are behind her.

Rousey is only 31 years-old and could end up having a nice 10-15 year run with WWE.
