On top of that, Rousey has been spotted with The Game multiple times, and he has teased about her finally joining the WWE soon. With the very first 30-woman Royal Rumble set to take place this Sunday, many are speculating that Rousey will appear. That's when you consider only 18 of the 30 spots have been taken up thus far.
But Rousey shut down any fan hopes that she will be appearing at the Royal Rumble. I'm actually leaving to Colombia right now to finish shooting 'Mile 22' and won't be back until mid February," she told TMZ Sports.
In the interview, Rousey did express gratitude after learning that Raw Women's Champion Alexa Bliss praised her as someone who was "ready to take her title away from her." But that dream clash won't be happening any time soon, unless Rousey is hiding something from us.
Rousey also said she hasn't signed a deal with the WWE. That shoots down any speculation that she did sign a contract, as she was seen having dinner with Triple H earlier this month.
But even though Rousey won't be appearing at the Royal Rumble, it's entirely possible she appears at WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans. She did appear on the Grandest Stage of Them All three years ago in a segment with The Rock, where they took The Game and Stephanie out of the ring.
Rousey hasn't fought in UFC since losing to Amanda Nunes at UFC 207 on Dec. 30, 2016. President Dana White admitted that her career is likely over, which has only added speculation that she will come to the WWE eventually.
It's bound to happen at some point. Just don't expect it this Sunday.
