Ronda Rousey is nervous about her pro wrestling debut at WrestleMania but knows that the worst thing that could happen isn't that bad.

Between the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber exactly what WWE creative had planned for their newest signing Ronda Rousey was pretty unclear. Although most fans assumed that her first match wouldn't be until WrestleMania, there were no guarantees. Well now we know, and that will indeed be the case.

Rousey's first match will be a tag team match at WrestleMania 34. The former UFC Bantamweight Champion will pair up with Raw General Manager Kurt Angle to take on Stephanie McMahon and Triple H. The tension between all parties came to a head on Raw a couple of weeks ago when Rousey delivered her first televised wrestling move in WWE, a Samoan drop to The Billion Dollar Princess.

Exactly how good a pro wrestler Rousey is at this point is being somewhat hidden from the fans, and understandably so. She has never had a wrestling match and has presumably only been training for a handful of months. That's also likely the reason why she won't be going one on one with anybody until after WrestleMania. Earlier this week Rousey appeared on Ellen to discuss how her WWE career has gone so far.

Ellen Degeneres asked The Rowdy One whether she is nervous as we head towards her WrestleMania showdown with two of WWE's top bosses. Raw's newest star admitted that she is nervous, but not the same kind of nervous she felt before competing in the Olympics. Her reasoning for that is because Rousey believes that the worst thing that could possibly happen to her is she ends up looking stupid which wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. Just remember that it will be in front of 75,000 people, Ronda, plus the millions watching at home.

Rousey doesn't mean any disrespect when she says her nerves aren't as bad as before she competed at the Olympics. It makes sense if you think about it. What Rousey will be doing in New Orleans on April 8th will all be scripted whereas at the Olympics she had no idea what was going to happen before she competed. Hopefully she won't look stupid in front of the world though and lays a solid foundation for the rest of her WWE career.
