Ronda Rousey made her long-anticipated WWE debut after the Royal Rumble pay-per-view on Sunday. She pointed at the WrestleMania 34 sign, seemingly hinting that she’s ready to face either Alexa Bliss or Charlotte at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in two months.

But as it turns out, Rousey’s appearance at WrestleMania 31 may have offered a hint as to who she’ll face in her first WWE match. According to Dave Meltzer, there are plans to have Rousey team up with The Rock at WrestleMania 34. Their planned opponents? Triple H and Raw commissioner, Stephanie McMahon.

At WrestleMania 31, The Rock cut a promo and confronted The Game and Stephanie. When the latter slapped Rock and teased him for not being able to hit a girl, the People’s Champion brought Rousey out from the front row crowd. Rock and Rousey then worked together to take out Triple H. The latter then put Stephanie in an armbar and forced her to leave.

If this match takes place, there’ll be few fans complaining about it. Rousey has a great relationship with both Triple H and Stephanie in real life, so it’d be fitting to have her debut match against the couple that brought her in.

The Rock last ‘wrestled’ a match at WrestleMania 32, when he defeated Erick Rowan in six seconds. His last legitimate match was against John Cena at WrestleMania 29, where he lost the WWE Championship.

Triple H only wrestles part-time now, but always faces a major superstar on the Grandest Stage of Them All. Last year was Seth Rollins, preceded by Roman Reigns and Sting. Going toe-to-toe (with his wife), against The Rock and Rousey would undoubtedly be a historic moment.

With WrestleMania 34 just two months away, the buildup for all the matches will begin taking place soon. It shouldn’t be long until we find out the confirmed plans for Rousey in her WWE debut.
