Former UFC champion Ronda Rousey is one of the biggest signings that WWE has ever made given the fact of just how popular she is within the sports world and how she put women's MMA on the map.

With Rousey now a professional wrestler with WWE, she has to do whatever it takes to ensure that she's a big success and not a failure after signing a contract with the company earlier in the year.

Rousey is scheduled to make her in-ring debut during WrestleMania 34 next month as she's set to team up with Kurt Angle to face off against Stephanie McMahon and Triple H.

During a recent interview with United Kingdom media outlet Metro, Rousey indicated that she's been given plenty of homework by some fellow wrestlers.

"I’ve been talking to a lot of wrestlers I really respect and asking them for homework. They’ve given me videos and specific matches to watch, so I’ve been getting a crash-course from a bunch of different people and their opinions of important and pivotal matches to watch," said Rousey.

"Brian Kendrick will send me matches and ask me to tell him where the heat, the comeback, and the false finishes are, so that I can spot and see these things. Of course the first time I tried to identify those things I was completely wrong and totally off. But I’m studying and learning an entirely new skill and industry, so it’s hard to just focus on one person when I have an entire Universe to learn about."

I'm sure Rousey has been enjoying the homework that she's had to entrench herself in so that she is prepared for her huge debut next month. Given the fact that she's loved wrestling for so long, I would imagine that she's soaking in a lot of information.

When it comes to Rousey's WWE in-ring debut at WrestleMania, I have a feeling that she will come away with a win alongside Angle. I just can't imagine CEO and chairman Vince McMahon having her lose her first ever match given the fact f how popular she is.

Rousey is also really good friends with former WWE wrestler and current UFC fighter CM Punk who made the opposite switch that she made a couple of years ago. She was asked by Metro if she would like to see him return to WWE at some point.

"I think everybody on Earth would love to see him back in WWE, and I would completely fall all over myself and be honoured if he wanted to be involved with me in any way, shape or form," she said.

"But also, it’s not all about everyone else. It’s his life and it’s about him. He’s doing what he enjoys, what he’s passionate about and what brings out the best of him."

Many people were wondering why Rousey didn't appear on this past Monday night's RAW when WWE had advertised that she would be making an appearance.

Pro Wresting Sheet, via Newsweek, reported that WWE mistakingly wrote an article stating that she would be in attendance. Instead of being in Detroit for RAW, Rousey was in Pittsburgh undergoing medical testing so there was nothing to be worried about.
