As WWE has done before when needing to remove someone off of programming for awhile, the company used an in-ring segment to suspend one of the participants. The question is, 'What's next for Andrade and Humberto?'

With Andrade's wellness violation, his match was obviously changed but the wrench thrown into what was written could create an even better storyline moving forward for WWE.

WWE is confirming reports that Andrade has been suspended for 30 days due to the company's talent wellness policy violation. The current United States Champion was told of the suspension Monday morning prior to his match on Raw against Humberto Carillo and that led to the segment where Humberto DDT'd Andrade into the concrete floor.

It’s not been revealed what substance Andrade tested positive for but it seems clear WWE has an idea about how they'll move forward, even if this was not what was planned originally. The storyline may now move to focus on Zelina Vega.

Speculation is that WWE has no plans to strip Andrade of the title, instead, this program could move to WrestleMania and Vega may be the mouthpiece for Andrade while away, calling foul even though her client has done the same and worse to his opponents. It's a classic heel move.

Vega will keep Andrade at the forefront of people's minds by talking about his injury and how severe it is and obviously, fans won't buy into it. Andrade will then return and attack Humberto, potentially leading to a grudge match between the two with an added stipulation. But this isn't the only option available to WWE.

What may be interesting is whether WWE chooses to keep Vega loyal to Andrade or they revert back to some of the teases of them having friction in the past. Should the company feel frustrated by Andrade's timing, they may move in another direction. Veering away from Humberto being the ultimate babyface leaves the company with options.

The Angle Makes A Lot Of Sense Now

It seemed like a strange decision to have Humberto act in such a heel manner on Raw but knowing WWE needed to quickly come up with a way to remove Andrade from television, it makes sense Paul Heyman and others chose this direction.

WWE has a couple of choices now. Vega can play the classic heel or the company can tease Humberto has a bit of an evil streak to him and Vega might find that appealing.
