During last night's edition of Monday Night Raw, some big news emerged that a handful of suspensions could be taking place due to superstars violating WWE's Wellness Policy.

The news was first reported by WrestleVotes. There were no names mentioned at first, but they followed up the initial tweet with a photo of Samoa Joe, leading some to believe that he'd be among the suspended talents.

But sources told Paul Davis of Wrestling News that Samoa Joe hasn't been suspended, and more importantly, the two-time United States Champion "has not failed the wellness policy."

Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com was also able to confirm that Joe isn't suspended. The latter was reportedly absent from Monday Night Raw this week because he's yet to receive clearance for a return. The belief is that he may have a concussion.

Robert Roode and Primo were each handed 30-day suspensions after violating WWE's Wellness Policy. Andrade, the current United States Champion, received the same suspension (he also violated their Wellness Policy) and was written off of TV after Humberto Carrillo brutally attacked him on the Jan. 27 episode of Raw.

Samoa Joe missed over three months of action after suffering a broken thumb, but he made his return several weeks ago and has since aligned with Kevin Owens. The duo have worked against Seth Rollins, AOP and Buddy Murphy, who have all formed a new villainous main event stable.

We can only hope that Samoa Joe's possible concussion isn't anything that will sideline him long-term. He's missed plenty of action dating back to 2017, and it'd be disappointing if the fan favorite had to miss ample time during a main event push.

What's Next For Samoa Joe When He Returns?

It's impossible to know how long a concussion can keep a superstar out of action for. If Joe is sidelined for a long period of time, Owens' angle with Rollins and the AOP could be long gone by the time he returns. But if Samoa Joe is back in short time, then he'll certainly continue his main event program with Owens and company.
