Former WWE Cruiserweight Champion, Neville, has been off of television since walking out on the Oct. 9, 2017, edition of Monday Night Raw. Initially, it was believed that Neville had quit the WWE altogether, though the company quickly denied that. Neville had also reportedly been unhappy with the promotion for quite some time.
But it appears as though this saga is about to come to an end. PWInsider.com is reporting that there have been "positive discussions," between both Neville and the WWE. Not only that, but Neville could return to the WWE by the end of November. PWInsider noted they couldn't confirm speculation that he could even return this week.
Still, this is a major development, and the news comes out just weeks after Nia Jax returned following a walkout of her own after learning she was booked to fall to Sasha Banks at TLC.
Neville has undoubtedly been an anchor in the Cruiserweight division where he's won the Championship belt twice. Enzo Amore and Kalisto have since been feuding for supremacy among all Cruiserweights, but Neville's in-ring talent and experience make him a safe bet to lead it if/when he returns.
Since coming over from NXT, Neville has emerged as one of the top young talents in the WWE. He won a Slammy Award in 2015, after being named the Breakout Star of the Year. He won one NXT Championship and two NXT Tag Team Championships.
Unless a surprise is in store, Neville will not return in time for Survivor Series, which is just six days away. Enzo Amore is set to defend his Cruiserweight title against Kalisto, so you have to think Neville would have been involved in the match had he not walked out.
There are no more pay-per-view events involving the Raw brand stars for 2017. So in the following weeks' episodes, you can brace yourself for Neville's return any time now.
