He’s one of the hottest independent talents not in the WWE but that may not stay this way for long. High-flyer Ricochet is rumored to be signing with the WWE and speculation around WWE’s Performance Center is that they’ll be seeing an influx of signings. The news is expected to be announced in new year that Ricochet will join NXT and may be joined by two other prominent talents.

Warbeard Hanson and Ray Rowe aka War Machine in Ring of Honor Wrestling (ROH) are also rumored to be making the way up north and joining WWE. Both competitors are currently not under contract and finished their commitments with ROH. They’ll be making an appearance at New Japan’s Wrestle Kingdom 12 and then heading to the WWE.

Before this news, Ricochet was believed to have been pursued by Impact Wrestling but couldn’t land the sensational in-ring talent. PWInsider is suggesting that Ricochet will actually be ready to roll in a WWE come the new year but his debut may be held off as he gets used to the WWE style of shooting television. An international star, it often takes a little time to adjust to the WWE day-to-day.

Ricochet stands 5’10” and is about 200 lbs. This could mean a debut in the Cruiserweight Division or it could mean he starts in NXT and is moved up to the main roster as soon as he’s deemed ready for a larger role. For those that aren’t familiar with his in-ring aerials, he’s worth a look on YouTube.

Meanwhile, War Machine would and could be an immediate boost to the WWE’s tag division on any show. Dave Meltzer is reporting that both are currently undergoing medical testing with a WWE debut to follow. They too might debut on NXT, potentially in a feud with Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly. Meltzer expects the two to debut before WrestleMania 34.

These may not be the only three stars to make their way to the WWE in the coming months but they are certainly among the most anticipated.
