Braun Strowman proved to be a Monster Among Men once again at Money in the Bank, winning the men's ladder match and thus giving himself one year to cash in on a championship match whenever he wants.

Alexa Bliss wasted no time cashing in her women's MITB contract, defeating Nia Jax to win the Raw Women's Championship. Now, fans sit back and ponder just when Strowman will cash his championship opportunity in.

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio (h/t Ringside News), provided some speculation on when Strowman could seek his title opportunity. Meltzer spoke with somebody about a potential Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar match at SummerSlam, and how it could set up a cash-in and title victory for Strowman:

"Maybe like Roman beats Brock and then Braun cashes in on Roman right away, I mean they could do it.

But something along those lines because Roman does have to beat Brock Lesnar before he leaves. Because he’s lost so many times that he’s got to do it but if they end the show with Roman winning people are going to freak out, it’s New York it’s just going to be an ugly scene.

If they end the show with Braun winning, with Brock losing so he’s out of the picture but Roman Reigns winning but losing in the same night it will be an incredibly happy ending it will be so satisfying I mean they could do that too."

This is only speculation for now, but it certainly would be the ideal cash-in for Strowman. Lesnar is expected to return to the UFC and has been rumored to be dropping the Universal Championship in the near future. Whether or not he leaves the WWE for good after SummerSlam remains to be seen, but the title run has to end soon.

Given how bent WWE is on pushing Reigns (keep in mind Meltzer said the original plans called for him to beat Lesnar at WrestleMania 34), it's logical to believe the Big Dog will finally defeat the Beast Incarnate at some point.

But with Strowman's popularity soaring across the WWE Universe, it'd be perfect to have him steal Reigns' thunder and become the new champion. WWE has been pushing The Monster Among Men for over a year now, and SummerSlam presents the perfect opportunity to give him that Universal title once and for all.

Then again, this is only a rumor for the time being, and WWE just might change up their plans over the next couple of months. But for now, we do have an idea on when Strowman could cash in.
