While most fans were hoping one day to see a match between The Undertaker and Sting, WWE might be prepared to offer the next best thing.

Sting may never step into the squared circle with The Deadman, but if WWE has their way, it appears “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt will. WWE is reportedly “considering” a confrontation between Wyatt and The Undertaker that would take place on SmackDown’s debut on FOX on October 4.

That seems crazy considering the company hasn't pushed anything significant between the two and this is a show that is only days away, but the rumors are out there. It would throw a major wrench into the build-up for Seth Rollins vs. The Fiend which is to take place at Hell in a Cell just days from now.

The origins of this rumor come from a Firefly Funhouse episode were the number “11:19” displayed on his clock. Many believed this was in reference to The Undertaker's debut on November 19, 1990, at Survivor Series. This has led to speculation that The Undertaker next in line behind Seth Rollins to do battle with “The Fiend,” with WWE hoping to capitalize on The Fiend's popularity while getting the two in the ring together while The Undertaker has the legs to put on decent match.

The Undertaker is advertised for next month’s part-timer-filled Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia. Could this be where the two face off with each other if a match is being constructed? WWE certainly treats these shows like a mini-WrestleMania, so that's not out of the question.

Watch For Hints Leading Into Friday's SmackDown

We'll have to keep a close eye on the WWE product this week, including Raw as the October 4th Fox debut comes up. How will WWE write the Rollins and Fiend storyline this week? Is there a chance The Undertaker somehow squeezes in their like Becky Lynch into a Twitter feud?
