As WWE says, the show must go on. Friday's episode of SmackDown will feature Superstars, such as Daniel Bryan, The Miz, Carmella, and surprises.

WWE.com has confirmed that flights are delayed, even those that organized their own charters because they didn't want to wait for the commercial flights, won't arrive in Buffalo, New York until after Friday's episode of SmackDown is over. As such, WWE is completely re-writing the show and has announced there will be several surprises.

Among the things we know, Daniel Bryan will be a huge focus of the show as he was not a part of the crew that went to Saudi. Sami Zayn is likely to get mixed up in the action as he did not travel either and never does because of his heritage. The same goes for Aleister Black who is not welcome because of his tattoos. Many of the women on the show were not present in Saudi so stars like Carmella, Nikki Cross and others will be heavily featured.

What About These Surprises?

As for surprises, expect a few of the females from Raw to be on the show and the potential for a few names from NXT to show up. For one night, the rules of the WWE Draft will likely be thrown out the window.

NXT stars are not confirmed considering those stars would have had to have flown from Florida to New York, but it's a much more likely option than anyone arriving from Saudi Arabia earlier than expected.

There may be an appearance by Hall of Famers like Edge, Vince, Stephanie and a possible return by Shane McMahon. Maybe even the return of Sheamus who has been rumored as close to ready to return to WWE in some capacity.

WWE is going to have to figure out a way to make a two-hour show fun for the audience who expected to see big stars like Brock Lesnar, The Fiend and Roman Reigns. It might actually be a show that really does surprise a few people.

Update:

It's unknown what exactly is going on with the stars still in Saudi. It looks like the delayed stars have finally left as Rusev posted an update on Twitter with a plane icon suggesting they'd finally taken off. But, in a second post, he asked for prayers from everyone.
