Throughout wrestling history, there have been a lot of wrestlers who have dated each other and had real-life relationships, whether it's Triple H and Stephanie McMahon or Brie Bella and Daniel Bryan. Considering that wrestlers spend so much time together, relationships tend to blossom naturally.

Fans often get very invested in these couples as they see two people that they support in wrestling together in real life, which is the case even more now with social media. However, this has led to fans heavily investing in the personal lives of talent, starting rumors about relationships once two co-workers seem to be close, and many of those rumored couples have ended up being totally fake.

Anytime WWE puts a man and woman together in a storyline, there are instantly rumors about them possibly being in a relationship. When Ted DiBiase Jr. brought back the Million Dollar Championship, he had Maryse by his side which led to a great on-screen partnership.

It was rumored at the time that it was a legitimate relationship, yet that was never the case. Instead, Maryse was actually dating The Miz, with who she's since married and had two children.

Another example of wrestlers being paired together on-screen and being rumored to be a couple is Zelina Vega and Andrade. A lot of fans felt that this was a legitimate relationship because their chemistry was so great in the manager/talent role, but that was never the case.

However, both of them are in relationships with other wrestlers. For Andrade, he dates Charlotte Flair, while Vega is actually married to Aleister Black.

John Cena and Maria had a very short on-screen relationship in WWE, but it was long before that happened that the rumors of this couple began. Maria's backstage interviewing personality saw her be quite flirtatious, especially with Cena.

It was a really fun duo on-screen, and it led to a lot of rumors about the two of them behind the scenes. However, while Cena did date a couple of wrestlers, most notably, Nikki Bella, this was a relationship that never actually happened.

Fandango and Summer Rae worked together on-screen for a while, but while they danced and became a solid pairing on television, that's as far as it went. Even on Total Divas, this relationship was pushed but was showcased as never actually taking place.

They had really good chemistry together in the ring, which led to the rumors taking place. However, when it came to this couple, the relationship was only ever professional.

While Dana Brooke and Batista were obviously never on the same roster together, they did get to know each other quite publicly on social media. The two of them did a lot of flirting over Twitter, and they even set up a date together.

The posts did get the WWE Universe intrigued though, however, a real-life relationship between the two of them never actually rook place, and this was just fun banter on Twitter.

While Mike Rome isn't a WWE Superstar, he is part of the industry as one of WWE's lead ring announcers. He is someone who is very close friends with Alexa Bliss, with the two of them often spending time together on the road.

The fact they are with each other a lot in their personal time led to people speculating that they could be an item, but that wasn't the case. However, they're good friends, and that remains the case to this day.
