Rusev Responds To Rumors That He's Re-Signed With WWE

With his contract on the verge of expiring, Rusev faces an uncertain future in WWE.

Rusev and Lana have discussed their frustrations and disappointments in WWE, and there has been plenty of speculation that the former United States Champion could be leaving in short time.

A fan on Twitter suggested that Rusev had re-signed with WWE, and that it was "a huge mistake." However, The Bulgarian Brute seemingly denied any notion that he's signed a new contract.

Rusev has a tough choice ahead of him, but WWE looks to be doing all they can to keep him. Along with Lana, Rusev has seen more television time amid the storyline feud with Bobby Lashley.

If WWE is going to keep pushing the Bulgarian Brute, then perhaps he'll make the decision to stick around - rather than potentially join a rival company like AEW, who already snagged Jon Moxley.

WWE is in a difficult period with some of its superstars. Luke Harper, Sin Cara, Mike Kanellis and Oney Lorcan have all asked to be let go, though it doesn't seem like WWE is keen on granting either of their wishes right now.

WWE decided not to put Lashley vs. Rusev on the card for Survivor Series, since the show is already booked up. That said, their feud appears to be far from done, and we'll likely see the next segment on tonight's episode of Raw.

Rusev's Future Remains Unclear

There haven't been a lot of hints to suggest if Rusev will stay, or if he'll decide to leave. You know that WWE will do everything they can to try and keep him on board, but that's easier said than done. Only time will tell where Rusev decides to go.
