Ryback has been letting loose on various issues involving the WWE ever since his release from the company, and on his latest podcast spoke about how John Cena was to blame for the failure of The Nexus as a group back in 2010. Nexus comprised of rookies forming a heel stable that feuded with Cena only for Cena to never really put them over and making them look like fools, especially at SummerSlam 2010.

"It was a great faction and it was underutilized.

It was not used properly mainly because of John Cena. F***ing marks, that's your headline for the f***ing week. And it's a fact across the board. Everybody knows it and he did not want that to go any further than what it was going to go past because it was working, because it was eight guys getting over naturally. That's why. God forbid guys get over naturally."

Ryback then took a jab at Cena:

"That's what happens when you get a noncompetitive athlete in the top position who's not used to competing in real life."
