The WWE treated the fans of Montreal to one of the better Raws in a while, and one of those reasons was bringing Sami Zayn out for John Cena's open challenge for the U.S. Title. Zayn was pumping on adrenaline in front of his hometown and he needed it, as he suffered a shoulder injury during the match. Zayn, like a true wrestler, finished the match but it was clear he was in pain.

It's being reported that Sami Zayn suffered the injury while making his entrance, as he was raising his arms to pump up the crowd and grabbed his shoulder right after. Zayn was then bandaged up following Raw, as he came out for the Pat Patterson tribute following the show. There's no word yet on his status on the main roster following this injury, although it was billed as Zayn's Raw debut.

Zayn is set to undergo an MRI today to find out the extent of the injury. A trainer came into the ring to tend to the injured Zayn, but after a brief pause and checkup, Zayn and Cena finished the match and tore the house down. Let's hope the injury isn't too serious.
