Sami Zayn Takes Shot At The Undertaker, Threatens To "Take Him Out"

Sami Zayn has talked a big game over his young WWE career, but for the most part, he hasn't been able to back it all up.

Zayn has gone after the likes of Bobby Lashley, Daniel Bryan and Finn Balor, but he's failed to emerge victorious more often than not. Now, the former NXT Champion is aiming for a chance to take down arguably the greatest wrestler of all-time.

The Undertaker made an epic WWE-style appearance (with his theme song) before the Texas Longhorns squared off against LSU on Saturday. Zayn responded to this by threatening to "take" out the WWE legend.

The Undertaker is set to appear at tomorrow's episode of SmackDown Live at Madison Square Garden, so Zayn will have an opportunity to confront The Deadman, if he so wishes.

It's unknown when The Undertaker will wrestle next. He's not going to wrestle at the Clash of Champions pay-per-view, so it's unlikely that his appearance tomorrow will set up The Phenom's next match.

Zayn hasn't wrestled much over the past couple of months. He didn't wrestle at SummerSlam, and Zayn only took part in three matches during the month of August. Zayn didn't compete last week, either, so there's no clear direction on where WWE wants to go with the 35-year-old superstar.

Whether or not WWE would entertain an Undertaker-Zayn feud remains to be seen. The former only wrestles a handful of matches a year, and they always take place against fellow legends or established main event stars.

Will Zayn Get A Chance Vs. Undertaker?

Zayn was a major star in NXT, and he seems overdue for a big push, so maybe WWE will give him a shot vs. Undertaker down the road. The latter has faced the vast majority of the top stars on the WWE roster, and he could be used in helping get Zayn over.
