Samir Singh defeated R-Truth to become the new 24/7 Champion at the Crown Jewel pay-per-view on Oct. 31, and he has retained the title belt ever since.

Singh took to Twitter and pointed out that he has now been the 24/7 Champion for 21 days, which is now an all-time record. Congratulations to Singh on setting an excellent feat!

Singh actually only won the title 14 days ago, but perhaps he's providing an early spoiler in that the 24/7 Championship won't be dropped over the next week? That remains to be seen.

As of now, R-Truth is actually the holder of the record the longest 24/7 Championship reign at 15 days (Oct. 16 to 21). Drake Maverick held the title for 13 days from July 1 to July 15.

Prior to that, R-Truth held the record when he was 24/7 Champion for 12 days from June 6 to 18. Carmella enjoyed a 10-day run with the title from Sept. 23 to Oct. 4, but Marshmello ended her bid at breaking R-Truth's record when he won the title. However, Carmella regained it later that same evening - only to drop it to Tamina two days later.

10 days before Samir won the 24/7 Championship for the first time, Sunil Singh had defeated R-Truth on Raw to win the title. He lost it to the latter at the Crown Jewel kickoff, setting the stage for Samir to avenge his brother's defeat by winning it back from R-Truth.

It was reported last month that WWE may be considering the idea of retiring the 24/7 Championship altogether. That remains to be seen, but for now, Samir is bent on extending what he claims to be a record-breaking reign.

Singh Has To Watch Closely For Challengers

Most of the 24/7 title changes have taken place when the defender least expects it, and Samir needs to learn from the mistakes of other superstars. He needs to watch carefully for challengers, especially R-Truth, who has always found creative ways to sneak up on opponents and thus regain the title.
