Samoa Joe worked for TNA Impact Wrestling for a decade before Joe finally left to work for WWE. He was one of the top stars in the company throughout his career, a Grand Slam Champion, a former world champion, TV champion, two-time tag team champion, and five-time X-Division Champion.

At the end of his TNA career, Joe was involved in three distinctive feuds that stretched out over his final 10 TNA PPV appearances for the company. This included working as part of Team TNA to battle Aces & Eights, feuding with former tag team partner Magnus, and then finishing up, working with MVP and Lashley.

10 Vs. Aces & Eights (Slammiversary XI)

Slammiversary XI

Throughout the end of Samoa Joe's tenure in TNA Impact Wrestling, he was involved in a long-running feud with Aces & Eights, defending TNA as a babyface. This saw Joe return at Slammiversary XI in a special unannounced match where Hulk Hogan put Mr. Anderson, Garrett Bischoff, and Wes Brisco up against three top TNA names in Joe, Magnus, and a returning Jeff Hardy.

The match lasted 11 minutes, and since Anderson was the only real experienced wrestler in the match for Aces & Eights, they never had a real chance.

9 Vs. Aces & Eights (Final Resolution 2012)

Before Garrett Bischoff and Wes Brisco betrayed TNA and joined Aces & Eights, they fought on the company's side, and at Final Resolution 2012, they teamed with Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle in an eight-man tag match against the heel stable.

The team of Aces & Eights wasn't much stronger here, with Doc Gallows and Devon teaming with two masked men. It was basically Joe and Angle with two green rookies against Doc and Devon with two masked men who never took them off (Knux and C. J. O'Doyle). Kurt Angle pinned O'Doyle after an Angle Slam.

8 Vs. Mr. Anderson (Genesis 2013)

At TNA Genesis 2013, Kurt Angle was in singles action against Mr. Anderson of Aces & Eights. However, at this time, Anderson is not an official member and is just hanging out with the faction.

He would later become the leader toward the end of the group. The match went about 11 minutes, and the two had a pretty even fought match that ended with interference. Knux came to the ring and distracted Joe when he was preparing for the Muscle Muster, which allowed Anderson to hit the Mic Check and pick up the win.

7 Vs. Magnus (Lockdown 2014)

After the feud with Aces & Eights ended, Samoa Joe began a feud with his former tag team partner Magnus. This was when TNA was pushing Magnus as the next big thing, a height he failed to reach in TNA, although he is on top of the world now as the NWA World Champion. At Lockdown 2014, the two fought in a steel cage with KO and Submission only rules.

Samoa Joe was a monster in this match. He just destroyed Magnus and was the man most of the match. This lasted 19 minutes, and it ended with a screw-job finish. Abyss came up from through the ring and hit Joe with Janice. This allowed Magnus to apply the rear-naked choke to an unconscious Joe for the win.

6 Vs. Lashley (Slammiversary XII)

Samoa Joe vs Lashley

The last angle that Samoa Joe had before leaving TNA was as part of the Beat Down Clan with MVP. However, before this, Joe was feuding with MVP and Lashley, and at Slammiversary, Joe and Lashley had a chance to fight for the right to wrestle in the world title match later on the card. The problem with this match was that it was short and included a ref bump before Lashley picked up the win. This was because Lashley needed to be fresh for the main event, but the two still put on a nice showing in the ring.

5 Vs. Magnus (Bound For Glory 2012)

Bound For Glory 2012 was the second of three times Magnus and Samoa Joe wrestled in Joe's final 10 TNA PPV matches. This was a match for Joe's TNA Television Championship, a short-lived title in the promotion that eventually became the Legends Championship.

Magnus was a fresh heel here and had a chance to show he could run with the ball as a top heel. The two had an excellent match, with Joe giving a lot, but it only lasted nine minutes, and Joe won with the choke to retain his title.

4 Vs. Chris Sabin, Manik, Austin Aries & Jeff Hardy (Bound For Glory 2013)

At Bound For Glory 2013, Samoa Joe was involved in the Ultimate X Match for the X-Division Championship. It was a great match, but this was all about showcasing Chris Sabin, who announcers emphasized had wrestled in more Ultimate X matches than anyone in TNA history and had won almost half of them.

Manik (TJP) came in as the champion and defended against Hall of Fame talent in Joe, Sabin, Austin Aries, and Jeff Hardy. The match lasted just 11 minutes, and it was Sabin who captured the X-Division title for the victory.

3 Vs. Aces & Eights (Lockdown 2013)

Samoa Joe at Lockdown 2013

Lockdown 2013 saw one of the biggest battles in the war between TNA and Aces & Eights. This was a Lethal Lockdown match, which was like the WarGames but with weapons. Joe was on Sting's team, which also included Eric Young, James Storm, and Magnus.

Aces & Eights included Devon, Doc, Mr. Anderson, Knux, and Garrett Bischoff. This was a war, and when Sting got to the ring and brought weapons, Joe had a chance to shine. Joe looked like he was having the time of his life with the weapon shots and Team TNA won in a 25-minute match.

2 Vs. Magnus (Turning Point 2012)

Samoa Joe vs Magnus Turning Point 2012

The best of Samoa Joe and Magnus's three TNA PPV matches came at Turning Point 2012. This was for Joe's TV title, and this time they had a No Disqualification Match.

These two just brutalized each other for 13 minutes inside and outside the ring, with Magnus really coming into his own as a heel, running scared when Joe was on offense, and fighting dirty when the chance arose. The end came when Magnus kicked out of the Muscle Buster but then challenged Joe to do more, which the Samoan powerhouse did when he locked in the choke and won.

1 Vs. Low Ki & Kaz Hayashi (Bound For Glory 2014)

Samoa Joe at Bound for Glory 2014

The best match of Samoa Joe's final 10 TNA PPV appearances came in a card that had the lowest attendance of his final PPV matches. In 2014, TNA chose to stop running monthly PPVs and only had a select few and made them special.

This PPV took place in Tokyo at Korakuen Hall and included stars from Wrestle-1. Joe was the X-Division Champion and put the title on the line against Low Ki and Kaz Hayashi. Low Ki and Joe always worked well together, and Kaz played his role well. This match was 10 minutes of total non-stop action, with Joe choking out Ki to win.
