No one has ever claimed that Scott Steiner is a wordsmith. But when he has a live microphone in his hands, no one knows what is going to come out of his mouth, and that includes the people behind the scenes.

Since reinventing himself as Big Poppa Pump, Steiner has been responsible for some of the most insane rants and promos in wrestling history. It didn't seem to matter which company he worked for. They would all be treated to a glimpse inside of the mind of Scott Steiner whether they asked for it or not.

10 Made No Sense: Revenge On Goldberg (Nitro, September 11, 2000)

On an episode of Nitro, Steiner attempted to hype his upcoming World Championship match with Goldberg, but all that came out of his mouth was gibberish. He began by stating he would be getting revenge on Goldberg for fracturing his face. Big Poppa Pump then talked about how big his arms were and explained the statement was true inside and outside of the ring. He then rambled about his freaks and told Mean Gene how they didn't have to wait for the Earth to rotate on a 38 degree axis and the stars to align to see the Big Dipper. It was a mess of a promo.

9 Great: Wiping The Smile Off Chris Kanyon's Face (Nitro, June 12, 2000)

Steiner had just made his way to the ring for a match with Chris Kanyon and surprised everybody by grabbing the microphone from the ring announcer. Everyone waited with bated breath as to what Big Poppa Pump was going to say, and there was doubt that someone had the fingers ready to censor whatever he was about to say. Steiner would shout abuse at Kanyon for looking proud about being accompanied by DDP's wife and then commented on how many men she has been with. It was short, sweet, and effective.

8 Made No Sense: Team 3D's Posteriors (Bound For Glory 2007)

Steiner's stint in TNA allowed him to reunite with his brother Rick to face another legendary tag team, The Dudley's. Performing as Team 3D, Steiner would run down his opponents in the lead up to a tables match. Instead of ranting about how he was going to beat them, he focussed his attention on the size of Bubba and D-Von's posteriors. Big Poppa Pump referred to them multiple times and also said they had an opportunity to run lickety-split. Then he reminded himself that they couldn't run due to the size of their rumps.

7 Great: Not Playing Games (Raw, January 13, 2003)

After WCW closed its doors, Steiner would make his way to WWE and step foot in the ring with the World Heavyweight Champion, Triple H. Big Poppa Pump's best promo came after he had competed against Helmsley in a series of strength and muscle conditioning games.

Steiner told Triple H that he could beat him in any game and that all he wanted to do was fight and that he wasn't waiting for their scheduled match at the Royal Rumble. Steiner was clear and to the point, and he let his fists do most of the talking.

6 Made No Sense: Scott Steiner Vs. The World (Raw, April 14, 2003)

For some inexplicable reason, WWE booked a segment on Raw that featured Chris Nowinski and Scott Steiner debating the Iraq war. Nowinski kicked off the discussion speaking eloquently and passionately about the topic. But then Steiner took over. It started poorly when he misspoke and claimed that he had wrestled a lot of countries instead of wrestled in a lot of countries. It got worse when he was censored by stating that opinions are like a specific body part in that everyone had one, referred to Nowinski as a master debater, then tried explaining about terrorism starting wars.

5 Great: New Leader Of The nWo (Nitro, November 30, 1998)

While Hollywood Hogan was supposedly preparing to run for president Of The United States, he passed the torch and leadership of the nWo to Big Poppa Pump. Steiner spoke fondly of Hogan and got heat from the crowd by putting him over. He then boasted about how he had the best body in professional sports and spoke of his plans to take over WCW. It went off the rails towards the end, and Eric Bischoff looked to be trying to contain his laughter, but it still made for one of Steiner's better promos.

4 Made No Sense: Ric Flair Shoot (Nitro, July 2, 2000)

Steiner and Flair didn't hold back their true feelings of one another. While they both kept it professional in the ring, when each of them had a microphone, they would both let everyone know how they really felt.

After removing his pimp clothing, Steiner would proceed to bury The Nature Boy with a scathing promo that began with comparing his skin to a Shar-Pei and continued with an unflattering description of his teeth. It then delved further into a shoot with Steiner rambling about his hatred for The Nature Boy.

3 Great: The Purple Warrior (Nitro, July 2, 2000)

Before Scott Steiner tore Ric Flair apart with his words, Big Poppa Pump strutted around the ring, looking like a pimp. He seemed to be in a good mood, which is why this promo made more sense than what came out of his mouth when he started ranting about The Nature Boy moments later. He began by aggravating the crowd by insulting the city and then asked the women who accompanied him to the ring to describe what it was like to be with the purple warrior. The announcers sounded shocked, but Steiner seemed to be loving life.

2 Made No Sense: The Math Promo (Impact, May 1, 2008)

Numbers and Scott Steiner don't mix well, as proven by his infamous math promo in TNA. Big Poppa Pump was preparing for a triple threat match with Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe. He then started calculating what his chances were of winning. Steiner claimed he had a 66 and two-thirds percent chance of winning. He then combined that with his 75 percent chance of beating Joe one on one. The total came to a 141 and two-third chance of winning the triple threat. He finished the promo by stating it spelled a disaster for Joe, but this rant was the only disaster.

1 Great: DDP & Kimberly Page (Nitro, April 5, 1999)

After defeating Diamond Dallas Page, Steiner would continue to run down the master of the Diamond Cutter and his wife. Big Poppa Pump would claim that because Page lost the match, that he would get to spend 30 days and 30 nights with Kimberly. As only Scott Steiner could do, he would describe in detail what he planned on doing to Page's wife. The promo helped draw more heat on Steiner and got the fans behind DDP in the hope that he would eventually get his revenge on the Big Bad Booty Daddy.
