Seth Rollins has reactivated his Twitter account after mysteriously disappearing from the social media network ahead of the weekend.

Fans noticed that Rollins' account was no longer on Twitter on Friday evening, with the Universal Champion having taken off sans explanation.

We're left to surmise what caused the WWE superstar to suddenly get off the platform on our own and his exchange with Sasha Banks just ahead of his departure is among the possibilities.

In any case, he's back, returning on Sunday with a short message. Apparently, he loves football. But that's something we already knew.

Also, the account has returned just as it was, with all of his previous tweets intact, including the short back and forth with Banks.

Rollins had talked up his upcoming title match with Rey Mysterio before getting trolled by the female star. His response was just as good, though.

"This is a match I’ve been looking forward to my entire life," he posted. "The fact that I’m defending the Universal Title on the #RAW Season Premiere against Rey Mysterio in 2019 is mind boggling. Even 6 days out from #HIAC & Bray Wyatt. I’ll empty the tank for one of the greatest ever."

"This is a match I’ve been looking forward 2 my entire life. The fact that I’m wrestling 1/2 of the Tag Champs on the #RAW Season Premiere against Alexa Bliss in 2019 is mind boggling. Even 6days out from #HIAC & Becky Lynch. I’ll empty the tank for one of the greatest ever," Banks tweeted shortly after.

Initially, it appeared as if WWE was simply posting the same tweets for their stars and just changing names. But it didn't take fans that long to realize exactly what was going on.

Rollins' fired back with the following:

"This is a match I’ve been looking forward to as much as every other match you’ve ever had...aka, not at all. Luckily for me, you’ll underdeliver like you always do and continue to wonder why you’re not in more main events."

We May Never Know What Caused This

Given that this was the last bit of activity on Seth's Twitter, it's fair to assume that his deactivation had something to do with it. But the world may never know.

As we were rudely reminded this morning, Monday's here, so there's not much of a wait between now and what should be a very entertaining match between The Architect and The Master of the 6-1-9.
