10 The Shield vs The Wyatt Family (Elimination Chamber 2014)

The overall success of The Shield as a faction created some of the best matches in WWE history. One that specifically stood out thanks to an impressive Seth Rollins performance had The Shield facing off with The Wyatt Family at Elimination Chamber 2014.

Fans loved every second of the match with huge ovations from start to finish. The storyline of tension between Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose saw Rollins step up as the leader to help get them on the same page. They came up just short losing to the Wyatt Family in an instant classic.

9 Seth Rollins vs Brock Lesnar (Summerslam 2019)

The past year has seen many ups and downs for Seth Rollins. Many wondered if his time on top was coming to an end when Brock Lesnar cashed in his Money in the Bank title shot to beat Rollins for the Universal Championship.

8 Seth Rollins Vs Everybody (Survivor Series 2016)

The Survivor Series 2016 match between the top male wrestlers (Seth Rollins, Braun Strowman, Chris Jericho, Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns vs A.J. Styles, Bray Wyatt, Dean Ambrose, Randy Orton and Shane McMahon) on Raw and Smackdown featured one of the all-time great elimination matches. Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns were the two Raw wrestlers to last until the end of the match.

Smackdown eventually won the match thanks to the duo of Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt getting on the same page. Rollins, however, did have one of his best WWE performances as a huge reason why this match worked so perfectly to establish the brand rivalry.

7 Seth Rollins vs Neville (Raw: August 3, 2015)

The WWE Championship reign of Seth Rollins in 2015 featured a few impressive performances. One of the best matches for Rollins came during a random episode of Raw in August 2015, when facing off against Neville for the title.

Fans rallied behind Neville as he made them believe an upset was possible. Neville hit the Red Arrow with an all-time great false finish of Rollins’ foot accidentally touching the ring rope to stay alive. Rollins closed out the surprise great match to retain the title.

6 Seth Rollins vs Kevin Owens (Hell in a Cell 2016)

The Universal Championship reign of Kevin Owens started with Triple H turning on Seth Rollins to help Owens win the title. Rollins turned face and entered a lengthy singles feud with Owens culminating at the Hell in a Cell PPV.

Both men beat the hell out of each other with dangerous spots inside of the cell. Chris Jericho finding his way into the cage allowed Owens to gain the advantage to retain the title. The match between Rollins and KO was an outstanding clash of styles.

5 Seth Rollins vs Brock Lesnar vs John Cena (Royal Rumble 2015)

The Royal Rumble 2015 featured a must-see triple threat match between Seth Rollins, Brock Lesnar, and John Cena. All three men found perfect chemistry on this night to create magic in the ring. Rollins was the newest to the main event picture and made the most of his opportunity.

Lesnar retained the title, but the performance of Rollins had everyone talking. Fans at the venue gave Seth a standing ovation at the end of the match for his work. This match played a huge role in WWE deciding Rollins could win the title in the main event of WrestleMania 31 once fans started booing Roman Reigns.

4 Seth Rollins vs Samoa Joe vs Bray Wyatt vs Finn Balor vs Roman Reigns (Extreme Rules 2017)

Five of the top wrestlers on the Raw brand competed at Extreme Rules 2017 for a title shot against Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship. Seth Rollins faced off with Samoa Joe, Roman Reigns, Finn Balor and Bray Wyatt as all five men had a valid argument for a title shot.

The performance of Rollins was once again great to raise his stock in WWE. However, it was Joe to win the match and enter a feud with Lesnar. The match here showcased just how talented the current WWE roster is even though they didn’t have a full-time champion on the show.

3 Seth Rollins vs AJ Styles (Money in the Bank 2019)

The best title defense from Seth Rollins after winning the Universal Championship came against AJ Styles. This was a dream match for many years as the two only faced off once in the past on a smaller independent wrestling show when Rollins was now starting his career.

Money in the Bank 2019 would see Styles and Rollins finally having a high-profile match for the Universal Championship. Rollins outmatched Styles to retain the title in a bout that lived up to expectations. Fans wouldn’t mind seeing them face off again.

2 The Shield vs Daniel Bryan, Ryback, and Kane (TLC 2012)

The first match of Seth Rollins on the WWE main roster came in a six-man TLC match teaming with The Shield to face Ryback, Daniel Bryan, and Kane. WWE fans instantly fell in love with the trio of Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns.

The tremendous action would see all six men use the weapons to create a beautiful masterpiece. Everyone knew the three wrestlers of The Shield would become stars after this night. Rollins especially had a great performance with a dangerous bump at bump falling from a stage ladder through a set of tables.

1 Seth Rollins vs John Cena (Summerslam 2015)

The peak of Seth Rollins’ first WWE Championship reign came when he defended the title against John Cena with Cena’s United States Championship also on the line. Fans were treated to a rare champion vs champion match with both titles on the line with a red-hot crowd.

Rollins delivered all his greatest hits for one of the strongest outings of his careers. Interference from Jon Stewart played the biggest role in the ending with Rollins using a Pedigree on a chair to become the double champ as the WWE Champion and United States Champion defeating the face of the company on a big stage.
