Seth Rollins is set to defend his Universal Championship against Braun Strowman at Clash of Champions, and it sounds like we're in store for a surprise twist ending.

According to Konstantinos Lianos of the Daily Express, it's possible that Bray Wyatt will interfere in the Universal title match this Sunday - which would result in a either a countout, no contest or disqualification ending.

This would set up a Universal Championship match for Wyatt at the upcoming Hell in a Cell pay-per-view, which takes place on Oct. 6 in Sacramento, California.

All signs are pointing to Rollins retaining the title this Sunday. A Rollins vs. Wyatt Universal Championship bout is being advertised for a WWE show in Edmonton, Alberta on Sept. 21. So there's another hint on how the match with Strowman will play out.

Wyatt's new "Fiend" gimmick has been an excellent success thus far, and he seems overdue for another main event push. Without a doubt, he'd be a worthy opponent for Rollins at Hell in a Cell and beyond.

On top of that, The Architect is an overwhelming betting favorite over Strowman at 1/2 odds, while the latter is a 6/4 underdog. So barring any last-minute changes by Vince McMahon and the creative team, it doesn't sound like The Monster Among Men will be getting those hands on his first Universal Championship.

Rollins and Strowman are also going to defend their Raw Tag Team Championships against Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode. The latter two are the favorites to win that match with 8/13 odds, and since Rollins and Strowman are embarking on their own feud, it'd be quite a surprise if they walked away as the winners in this one.

What's Next For Braun Strowman?

The Monster Among Men is likely going to drop the tag team titles along with Rollins this Sunday, and he's probably going to drop the Universal title match as well. If Wyatt becomes Rollins' next opponent, then it puts Strowman in no man's land. In that case, it would make sense for him to join SmackDown Live through the upcoming WWE draft - since there won't be spot for him in the main event picture on Raw.
