Seth Rollins and Bray Wyatt are set to continue their rivalry at Thursday's Crown Jewel pay-per-view in Saudi Arabia, where they'll clash for the Universal Championship.

The match carries a falls count anywhere stipulation, and following the controversial ending between these two at Hell in a Cell, another rule was added which forbids officials from stopping the match until there's a clear winner.

Wyatt was moved to the SmackDown Live brand in the WWE draft, and since they already have WWE Champion Brock Lesnar on the show, it's easy to believe that Rollins will retain. This would keep the Universal Championship on Raw, instead of having both major titles on SmackDown.

However, Bryan Alvarez and Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio (h/t Ringside News), suggested that Wyatt could win this match and the Universal Championship. With SmackDown Live struggling mightily from a ratings standpoint, it could help immensely if they had both title belts on the show. It was also detailed that this could be a part of a storyline ahead of the Nov. 24 Survivor Series pay-per-view.

SmackDown has seen consistent drops in ratings since moving to Friday nights under Fox, beginning on Oct. 4. Last week, the show only brought in 888,000 viewers, according to ShowBuzz Daily.

This would certainly be an interesting storyline if WWE decided to move its two prestigious titles over to one brand. It would affect the Raw brand's overall product, but if it can save SmackDown's ratings problems, then it'll be worthwhile.

It's also worth noting that Wyatt has been advertised for numerous Raw events through the month of November, which suggests that he isn't done on the show just yet. So even if he wins the Universal Championship, it could very well appear on both brands for the time being.

WWE Has To Prioritize Fixing SmackDown

At the end of the day, Raw will continue to bring in solid ratings - but SmackDown Live is a serious concern for WWE and Fox right now. It's pivotal that they find a way to fix the ratings, and the solution just might be to have Wyatt bring the Universal Championship over to the brand. And even if he does, it's only going to be for a short period. There's no way Raw will be without two major titles for the long run.
