Seth Rollins has quite a lot of nicknames, even for a WWE Superstar, but Crossfit Jesus might be the most amusing of all his monikers.

While on the surface it may seem as if Roman Reigns is very much the man that WWE and Vince McMahon want to be the face of the company, it's hard to ignore their collective love of Seth Rollins. Ever since The Architect turned on The Shield in 2014 and was given a monumental push, it has been pretty clear that certain important people behind the scenes at WWE see big things in him.

Understandably so too. Rollins may be a smaller guy, but his talent knows almost no bounds. You don't get compared to former Superstars such as Shawn Michaels if you're not someone with the potential to be a top guy. You also don't get a litany of nicknames like Rollins has. The Architect, The Kingslayer, Crossfit Jesus, the former WWE Champion is referred to as many things.

The last of those monikers is perhaps the most interesting and one that more casual fans may not be aware of. Rollins is always in phenomenal shape and if you ask him why he will credit his physique to Crossfit. The Shield member took up the unique brand of training all the way back in 2010 and has since had fellow WWE Superstars such as Bayley and Becky Lynch follow in his footsteps.

Rollins didn't ask for the nickname Crossfit Jesus however, and recently he discussed the emergence of the nickname with ESPN. "I think I bear a striking resemblance to the western version of Jesus Christ...and I'm always talking about CrossFit, so somewhere along the line, somebody put that together and came up with the CrossFit Jesus moniker," Rollins explained. There's no avoiding it really and it's one of those things that once you've seen it, it can't be unseen.

There are certainly worse things you could be called, especially in the industry of pro wrestling, and when it comes to WWE there aren't many better choices to lead their brand, both in and out of the ring. Now that Rollins has been with WWE for so long people can sometimes need reminding of how good The Architect actually is. Few would argue that Rollins isn't one of the top five performers in WWE right now and it will be very interesting to see what the company has in store for him in 2018.
