Seth Rollins Explains Why Vince Banned His "Curb Stomp" Finisher

While Seth Rollins was out of action recovering from his injury, there was talk about possibly changing his finisher from the Pedigree to something else. But, obviously they didn't come up with anything they liked better since we saw Rollins use the Pedigree on Roman Reigns at Extreme Rules a few weeks ago. What about the "curb stomp" you ask?

Well, if you were hoping they would bring that one back, it doesn't seem like a very likely scenario, given that it was Vince McMahon who banned the move.

On a recent edition of the Talk is Jericho podcast, Rollins talked about the curb stomp and why it was banned:

"It was right after I won the WWE Title at WrestleMania, and I just think that it was the first time Vince thought about it, because they were sending footage to The Today Show, because I was there. Aside from it having a fairly violent name, the visual of it, he was watching it, and he just thought it could be easily imitated by young children."
