The WWE loves to show photos of their athletes as children. In a way, it humanizes them, making it easier to root for said superstar, but it also makes for some great b-roll for their ever expanding documentary library.
Born in Chandler, Arizona, on July 22, 1965, this WWE Hall of Famer made a name for himself by teaming with a veteran wrestler, working their way through the territories until they landed in WWF. In 1988, they were released because of an altercation at a bar and according to this wrestler himself, Vince McMahon didn't want to work with him ever again.
That was probably a little bit of exaggeration, because the team would return later that year before finally splitting in 1991 in one of the most infamous segments in WWE history.
Are you still having trouble figuring it out? OK, here's another hint.
That segment was The Barber Shop, and it saw Shawn Michaels Superkick Marty Jannetty through a window.
The baby in that photo is none other than HBK himself.
Michaels has come a long way since that photo. He's the first ever WWF Grand Slam Champion, the fourth Triple Crown champion, and in 2011, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
He's regarded as one of the greatest of all time, but could anyone have thought that when that photo was taken?
