Sheamus has missed over seven months of action, due to a concussion that he suffered during the Apr. 9 episode of SmackDown Live - and it supposedly led to the end of his tag team partnership with Cesaro.

Back in September, it was reported that The Celtic Warrior was cleared for action again, but he has yet to return to the ring. That said, fans may not have to wait much longer to see The Celtic Warrior again.

According to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, Sheamus is present in Chicago for the Survivor Series pay-per-view. This suggests that he could make a surprise return at the big show tomorrow at the Allstate Arena.

For what it's worth, Cesaro currently isn't on the Survivor Series card, so he may not be involved in Sheamus' return tomorrow night. However, The Swiss Superman posted a photo of him and Sheamus together on Saturday - so the duo were reunited for at least a day.

Cesaro recently suggested that "The Bar" is no more, having explained that he's working on being a singles competitor. Perhaps that could mean rekindling his feud with Sheamus; the two were bitter enemies before former Raw general manager Mick Foley forced them to work together as a tag team.

Along with Cesaro, Sheamus was drafted to SmackDown in last month's WWE draft. The four-time World Champion won a whopping five Tag Team Championships during his partnership with Cesaro, which lasted two and a half years. Now, we wait and see what WWE has in store for The Celtic Warrior's return.

What's Next For Sheamus?

Sheamus and Cesaro don't have much more to prove nor accomplish as a tag team, so WWE is probably better off keeping them in singles competition. The SmackDown division could use more mid-card heels like Sheamus, and there are plenty of potential feuds for him on the show - ranging from Cesaro to Roman Reigns to The Miz, among others. So if anything else, look for WWE to use Sheamus as a mid-card bad guy going forward on SmackDown.
