Everybody on SmackDown Live was naturally on high alert following what many of them had a hand in on Monday night. Considering the attack that the blue brand masterminded over their Raw counterparts you would fully expect Team Angle and his Superstars to respond in kind. There was also the not so small matter of Shane McMahon returning to his show for the first time since Hell In A Cell and having to see Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. A lot of potential for chaos and a lot of Superstars likely watching their backs.

5. Benjamin And Gable Pick Up A Win

The New Day took on Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable on Tuesday night in what was another stark reminder that the terrific rivalry between the former and The Usos is well and truly over. Benjamin and Gable are the new number one contenders to Jimmy and Jey's crowns and they continued to prove their worth with a win over the four time Tag Team Champions this week. Shelton actually showed some heel like tendencies in order to pick up the win. While on the apron the veteran kicked Xavier Woods in the back and it was that action which enabled Chad Gable, the legal man, to pick up the win.

4. AJ Makes Short Work Of Sunil

Last week not only did Jinder Mahal start up something with Brock Lesnar, an issue that will come to a head at Survivor Series, but he also offended AJ Styles. Mahal claimed that he had already beaten everyone there is to beat on SmackDown Live. Well he hasn't beaten Styles and The Phenomenal One physically reminded the WWE Champion of that. An irate Jinder booked his own Sunil Singh in a match off the back of the confrontation. That match took place on Tuesday night and it did not last long. Styles slapped a Calf Crusher on Sunil and he tapped almost instantly. Next week it will be the turn of Samir. Expect a similar outcome.

3. Sin Cara Makes it 2-0 Against The US Champ

Last week on SmackDown Live Sin Cara picked up a shock win over the United States Champion, Baron Corbin. The victory will have something of an asterisk next to it since it was by count out, but it was a win nonetheless. The Lone Wolf had revenge on his mind this Tuesday as he was granted a rematch with the luchador. Not for the first time, and likely not for the last, Corbin let his temper get the better of him. Baron likely could have beaten Sin Cara on Tuesday but because he wouldn't relent from beating him down in the corner the official had no choice but to disqualify him. Then it dawned on Corbin that he had lost again, and when he realized he delivered an End Of Days to Sin Cara on the floor outside the ring.

2. Becky Lynch Will Captain Team SmackDown

There will be four teams of five taking part in two traditional Survivor Series elimination matches at the PPV of the same name next month. On Tuesday Daniel Bryan revealed all five women that will represent the blue brand next Month, Becky Lynch, Charlotte, Naomi, Tamina, and Carmella. All that was left to decide was who would be team captain, and the only way to do that was with a match. All five women stepped into the ring later in the evening for a Fatal Five Way. All sorts of things were going on at ringside with Natalya and James Ellsworth watching proceedings, but eventually Becky Lynch won the match by forcing Carmella to tap to the Disarm-her.

1. Randy Orton Makes The Cut

At the beginning of the night we witnessed the much anticipated confrontation of Shane McMahon and Sami Zayn. With the topic of Survivor Series taking precedent the issue of what exactly happened at Hell In A Cell was put on the back burner somewhat. Instead the SmackDown Live commissioner booked The Underdog in a match with Randy Orton. The winner of the night's main event would earn a spot on Team SmackDown at Survivor Series. It was also revealed before the match that Kevin Owens was also in the building, and that on next week's show he will face Shinsuke Nakamura in a Survivor Series qualifying match. KO actually came to the ring during Sami's match to try and help his new best friend, but it back fired. While the referee was distracted with Owens Orton hit a low blow on Sami and then finished him off with an RKO, claiming the first spot on Team Blue's men's team.
