SmackDown Live Superstar Out Four-To-Six Months

It has come at perhaps the worst possible time, but Zack Ryder suffered a knee injury in The Hype Bros match on SmackDown this past week and was forced to undergo knee surgery.

The Hype Bros had just been named as the number one contenders to The Wyatt Family's SmackDown Tag Team Championships, but now it is unknown as to whether or not Mojo Rawley will pick a new partner and still go ahead with the match.

Ryder is definitely out of action now for the next 4-6 months after the emergency surgery that could see him miss next year's WrestleMania, but Ryder recently tweeted that he thinks Mojo should team with Curt Hawkins in his absence:

Hawkins and Ryder used to team as The Edgeheads and now it seems that Ryder would like his former partner to cash in on his injury and help his current partner to overcome The Wyatt Family. He even provided the name, 'HypeHawks.

Will WWE really allow these two misfits to team together? It will be interesting to see what happens if they win and Ryder returns, but as a temporary replacement, Mojo couldn't go wrong with Curt Hawkins.
