Snitsky was released from WWE almost ten years ago, however, the former WWE Superstar looks better now than he ever did back then.

While The Ruthless Aggression Era is often remembered fondly in the present day by fans who watched the WWE product back then, there is no doubt that the time period also housed some very questionable angles and gimmicks. What is often ignored however is that WWE actually regressed a little in the decade or so that followed. Some of the riskiest things the company has ever done took place past the turn of the century.

NEXT: THINGS FROM THE COMPANY'S PAST WWE REALLY WANTS YOU TO FORGET ABOUT

One man who knows all about strange and questionable gimmicks is Gene Snitsky. Snitsky wrestled for WWE between the years of 2003 and 2008. Most fans will probably remember him for the angle that revolved around Kane and Lita. Snitsky accidentally knocked Kane into Lita which caused her to miscarry her and The Big Red Machine's baby. All in storyline, of course, but yes, this all actually happened on WWE television.

Despite being released from WWE in 2008, Snitsky continued wrestling on the independent circuit ever since and still performs to this day. In fact, the former Superstar is in better shape now than he has ever been as you can see from the Twitter post below. Snitsky is 47 years of age now and frankly, he looks incredible. In fact, the impressive physique coupled with his long beard have him looking a lot like Braun Strowman.

The former WWE Superstar's likeness to The Monster Among Men is pretty uncanny. So much so that if anyone at WWE is aware of what Snitsky looks like now, then they would be fools not to make something of it. Vince McMahon is currently in the market of former stars having illegitimate sons, how about Snitsky makes a return to Raw only to reveal that he is the father of Braun Strowman? We'd be more prone to believe that than the current angle between Kurt Angle and Jason Jordan.

The picture above wasn't merely posted to Snitsky's Twitter, and he actually sent it as a reply to a photo Stephanie McMahon had tweeted. Why he decided to do that exactly is unclear, although maybe he is trying to catch the attention of his former employers. WWE could likely do a lot more good with Snitsky in his current shape than they did with him a decade ago. Let's just hope Stephanie McMahon noticed the picture.
