After weeks of an anti-bullying angle with Alexa Bliss that commenced a babyface turn, Nia Jax was able to defeat Bliss and capture the Raw Women's Championship for the first time at WrestleMania 34. Now, she faces perhaps her toughest competition so far. Oddly, less than a couple of months after supporting the anti-bullying cause, she is playing a bully against Ronda Rousey.

This bizarre turn of events turned the social media community ablaze regarding the hypocrisy that this current angle entails.

On Raw, Jax went against Michelle Webb, an enhancement talent, and mocked Rousey the whole time. The feud seems to be revolved around whether Rousey can execute the armbar on Jax, and Jax showed Rousey that she will counter the armbar into a powerbomb. Jax also grabbed the mic and continued to insult her competitor.

Jax then invited Rousey to the ring and mocked her even more. At first, it looked like the angle was that Jax, as a babyface, wanted to compete against the best of the best in a feud of mutual respect. However, based on her telling the Richmond, Virginia crowd to "shut up," it now looks like she is a villainous bully. Either way, it has left the WWE Universe very confused.

GiveMeSport commented with the question that most people are struggling with right now, "Is this a Nia Jax heel turn? Or is she just playing the bad girl because Rousey is so popular?" Cageside Seats was also under the assumption that Jax is now a heel.

No matter what, the inconsistency of her character is already putting Jax in a bad position. At first, fans started to cheer her, even when she was a babyface, because they liked her hard-hitting style. Although being a henchman of Stephanie McMahon en route to a Rousey vs. McMahon match at SummerSlam would be great, turning Jax in this fashion is certainly leaving many to scratch their heads.
