WWE has revealed that each brand's secondary male champions will clash in a triple threat match at Survivor Series.
Survivor Series is all about the battle for brand supremacy. However, things are going to be a little different this year. NXT is getting in on the action. The black and gold brand's invasion has already led to a couple of cross-brand matches being announced. All three Women's Champions will compete against each other, as will all three sets of Tag Team Champions.
As for the three World Champions, they will not be clashing in a triple threat match. Brock Lesnar will be defending the WWE Title against Rey Mysterio. As for Bray Wyatt and Adam Cole, their Survivor Series roles have not yet been announced. Keeping Cole and The Fiend away from Lesnar is almost definitely a good thing at this point in time. We have no idea how that match would have gone down had it happened.
Cole is now the only member of Undisputed ERA who doesn't have a match at Survivor Series. On Raw this week, Roderick Strong's match on the PPV was announced. Since The Messiah of the Backbreaker is NXT North American Champion, he will be competing in a match with WWE's other two secondary male champions. US Champion AJ Styles, and Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura.

Before that announcement, the women's match was far and away the best on the card. Now we're not so sure. Styles, Nakamura, and Strong are all tremendous wrestlers, and we never imagined living in a world where the three of them would all be in the ring together. We definitely didn't expect it to happen this soon. This could well be the match of the night or even the weekend come Survivor Series.
The only con is that there are still a few more shows before Survivor Series arrives. That means any of these three men could lose their titles and change the match. That has already happened to the tag match following New Day's title win last Friday. We hope it remains as it is because that is a match we would love to see.
