Who says it's too early for SummerSlam predictions? We are a little over two months away from the biggest event to hit the big apple. Brooklyn, New York will play host to the 2016 edition of SummerSlam and believe me, things are heating up. With that said, I constructed a few matches that seem to be in the making. The WWE is heading into the summer of 2016 with some fresh talent and the return of many of today's greats that were sidelined for WrestleMania. With the latest return of Seth Rollins and John Cena, and Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton around the corner, the WWE should have a star studded SummerSlam in the makings. This prediction will be assuming another belt is introduced for Smackdown.

Everything's opinion based, so heres how I see everything playing out.

The Club vs The New Day (c) vs. Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady vs. The Usos

The tag team championship match will be taking SummerSlam by storm with some of the hottest tag teams going at it.

Wth the rising popularity of Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady, we ould expect to see these two to not only be in this match, but to be the potential fan favorites. The event will be in their back yard, New York, so we'd expect a loud hometown ovation for the two.

The Usos are still a big name in the tag division, so we'll throw them in here, even if fans are fed up of seeing them on WWE TV.

The Club will be the third tag team participants in this match. They haven't had a decent tag team run yet, so this will be the biggest match of their WWE careers. Expect them to get involved with the title within the next month or so, as they've already taken some shots at the New Day.

Leading up to the event, we're predicting that New Day will hold on to the titles, which is where they originally captured the titles. We'd predict that they drop the titles in the same building they won them in. The New Day had a legendary run, but their time as champs is ticking away.

Prediction: Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady win

Charlotte (c) vs. Sasha Banks

Since defeating Nicki Bella for the (former) Divas Championship last year, Charlotte has flourished as the head of the women's division. However, there is one "Boss" that wants to change that. The WWE has kept Banks of television lately. but expect her to re-emerge soon. She hasn't lost a match since her debut last Jul and she was close to capturing the gold at 'Mania but lost out on the opportunity after Becky Lynch tapped out. SummerSlam will see the "Boss" go toe to toe with Charlotte for the WWE Women's Championship... and win.

Prediction: Sasha Banks defeats Charlotte

Brock Lesnar vs. Bray Wyatt

Over the last year, it looked like the WWE was going to book Bray Wyatt vs Brock Lesnar, but we would only continue to get teased by the idea. There was speculation that we would see the two face off at WrestleMania 32 and at Roadblock, but we have yet to get what was rumored. SummerSlam will be the time and place where these two finally face off. The cult-like leader will be Lesnar's most intriguing challenger yet and hopefully Wyatt can get finally get a clean win in a major feud.

Prediction: Bray Wyatt defeats Lesnar after help from the Wyatt's

Sami Zayn Vs. Kevin Owens

A classic grudge-match that WWE fans would never get tired of. There's a lot of history between these two and much more to be made. We witnessed a near perfect match between the two at Payback and again at Extreme Rules during the fatal four way match for the IC Championship. Sadly, all good things must come to end. The final stop for these two will take place at the biggest party of the summer, SummerSlam.

Prediction: Sami Zayn defeats Owens, ending their feud

WWE SmackDown Championship (if they're awarded one)

John Cena Vs AJ Styles

This would be a matchup between the two best of their respected companies over the past decade. A matchup we thought we would never see. We saw Styles viciously attack Cena last Monday on Raw, which indicated that a lengthy rivalry was about to be born.

One way to turn this rivalry into one of the greatest of all time is having a title on the line. IF SmackDown is given their own title, and Styles and Cena are a part of SmackDown, then expect this match up to be one of the two main events at SummerSlam.

Prediction: AJ Styles defeats John Cena cleanly

Roman Reigns (c) vs Seth Rollins vs Dean Ambrose

These three have been tearing up the main event scene since The Shield broke up years ago, so it only makes sense that this match would happen at one point. At SummerSlam, "BELIEVE THAT" this will happen. As Roman Reigns stands before you the WWE Champion, a poised Seth Rollins is ready to reclaim the title he never lost, while a desperate Dean Ambrose has been scratching and clawing for a shot at the gold. A triple threat between the former Shield brothers is whats "best for business" and a non-obvious finish would make this a legendary event.

Prediction: Dean Ambrose pins Seth Rollins
