Shane McMahon put on a clinic against Kevin Owens at Hell in a Cell last weekend, which included a jump from the very top of the cage onto the table, but WWE Hall of Famer Superstar Billy Graham doesn't think too highly of the spot. It was the second time Shane-O Mac did such a jump in the past 18 months, as he pulled off the same stunt against the Undertaker at WrestleMania 32.
However, McMahon's dangerous stunt didn't fly with WWE Hall of Famer "Superstar" Billy Graham, who posted a rant on Facebook which included him calling McMahon an "idiot".
"Shane "Idiot" McMahon
As always, the WWE will first lie to us, then when they get caught they tell the fans the truth. I consider Shane McMahon to be nothing more than a rich man's foolish son. In a deliberate attempt to deceive us, the WWE released a statement that daddy's little son was just fine after this leap below and now they have told us that he really is hurt. Disgusting and I have no sympathy for this spoiled brat and maybe he wont try to defy gravity ever again for a worthless, meaningless, and dumb as Hell cheap pop."
This wasn't the first time that Graham ripped McMahon for a dangerous stunt. He gave Shane "zero credit" for jumping off the cage in his aforementioned 'Mania bout with Undertaker. Graham also said the "insane stunt was all for ego".
WWE.com originally reported that McMahon suffered "neck trauma, fractured ribs and a dislocated shoulder," then downplayed the severity of his injury by stating that he was "home resting and recuperating comfortably."
Judging by the crowd reactions, it appears McMahon's stunt more than entertained the WWE Universe, and many credit the man for risking his 47-year-old body just to put on a match.
Graham is also one of the most vocal former WWE superstars who's never afraid to voice his opinion—especially on social media—on the level of former WCW star Scott Steiner.
