There are many stars in the WWE that love their right to bear arms. It's a controversial stance to take in 2017, especially after Stephen Paddock opened fire from the 32nd floor of a hotel room onto a crowd of innocent people in Las Vegas as they attempted to enjoy a music festival. He murdered 59 people and his actions injured more than 500 others while he rained bullets from an assortment of 10 suitcases full of as many as 23 firearms. Upon investigation, police seized another 19 weapons found at his two homes.

With that kind of information, it's understandable that society will debate the access people have to weapons. There are many who believe that to take a person's right to own a weapon is against their constitutional rights and in the U.S., there are thousands upon thousands of people who own firearms for recreational and safety reasons. On the other hand, there are others who believe the accessibility of automatic weapons is what's making instances like this seem almost too routine.

Even in the WWE, there are some who believe that owning a gun is a basic human right, and others made quite a career off of people's fascination with action and movies that involve guns. While we don't know or speak for any WWE Superstars on the events that happened in Las Vegas, we do know that removing access to weapons would severely limit some of these Superstars ability to enjoy the things they do.

Here are five WWE Superstars we know love guns.

5. Brock Lesnar

Lesnar is an avid hunter. He's been showcased on shows like Trophy Hunters Alberta and is a huge fan of buck hunting and collecting antlers. For those who don't know, Lesnar is a reclusive kind of guy. He doesn't enjoy living where it's busy, preferring instead the ranch or farm lifestyle. When he retires, you can be sure it will be on a big piece of land that he can work outside, farm, hunt, and fish.

You wouldn't think it to look at him, but Lesnar is more than just a man who knows how to fight, he's quite adept at using a firearm.

4. Shawn Michaels

He's a Texan who lives on a ranch and uses what he's learned to hunt all sorts of animals. In this video clip, Michaels is actually on safari when he comes across an elephant who is not happy he and his group are there.

We don't know what happened in this particular situation but what we do know is that Michael's is a big gun and bow guy and spends a lot of his spare time hunting. He's become good friends with former WWE Superstar Steve Austin as they like to hunt together on occasion.

3. Maryse

Maryse's stance on weapons is the right to own a gun is simply out of safety.  She once witnessed an intruder on her home security system, and after that, she vowed to ensure she never feared for her life. It was a development that was filmed and discussed on Total Divas and The Miz seemed not too keen on the idea.

Maryse ended up buying a handgun behind his back. When he finally agreed, she had already bought hers. She now owns two.

2. The Rock

Now, we don't know if Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson loves guns in real life and is a collector, but we do know that he's well aware of how to use an assortment of weapons and has made millions of dollars looking like a pro.

While there are many WWE Superstars who have gone on to star in action movies where weapons are used, no one actor has done more with a gun on screen than the Rock has. If it weren't for guns and action movies, The Rock isn't the movie star he is today.

1. John Cena

Cena is a big movie star and has used his fair share of guns in films. He's also been known to dabble in the hobby from time to time when he's not busy "burying" talent in the WWE (note the sarcasm). He's been to plenty of firing ranges in his time and is a big advocate for the Tribute to the Troops events the WWE puts on each year.

He recently played the role of a sniper in the movie The Wall and he's done at least a dozen other movies scenes where guns were involved. He also happens to have huge guns of his own (we're no longer talking about weapons).
