After losing to Bray Wyatt on last week's episode of Monday Night Raw, Matt Hardy hinted at a character change screaming "delete" repeatedly before leaving the ring. Then on Monday, he cut a promo and introduced the 'Woken' Matt Hardy gimmick - speaking in a strange accent and threatening to '"delete" Wyatt.
Past and current WWE superstars have taken not of a 'Woken' Matt Hardy and shared their thoughts on Twitter. Long-time Hardcore wrestler Tommy Dreamer was one of them:

Though we await their statements, Jason Jordan and Finn Balor were warned by Hardy on Twitter, referring to the former as a "jackass" and the latter as having a "complex" soul. Be warned, Raw locker room. A Woken Matt Hardy has arrived.

For those of you who aren't exactly sure of what's going on, the "Woken" Matt Hardy is a variation of his "Broken: gimmick in Impact Wrestling. Hardy bleached his hair and began speaking in an accent, while threatening to "delete" his competition. The gimmick quickly became popular and earned plenty of critical acclaim from fans and wrestling pundits.
There were rumors for a while about Hardy returning to his "Broken" gimmick. Perhaps Jeff's shoulder surgery and current absence had the creative team decide it was time to allow Matt Hardy to wake up once and for all.
Previously, the Hardy Boyz were a tag team—returning at WrestleMania 33 to become the new Raw Tag Team Champions. But Matt Hardy is 'Woken', and it remains to be seen what'll happen with Jeff when he returns.
Now, fans will get to see who Matt tries to "delete" under his new gimmick. Bray Wyatt, your first.
