WWE Reveals Survival Series Will Feature Multiple Raw Vs SmackDown Matches

The Survivor Series pay-per-view event is one of the most exciting, as it pits Raw superstars vs. SmackDown superstars, including the iconic five-on-five elimination tag team match.

But it already looks like we'll have more than the annual five-on-five event. Alexa Bliss (the Raw Women's Champion), will face SmackDown Women's Champion, Natalya.

Angle also announced that Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins will face The Usos, The Miz (Intercontinental Champion), will face Baron Corbin (United States Champion). Jinder Mahal is also expected to face Brock Lesnar.

During the early stages of Monday Night Raw, general manager Kurt Angle confirmed that these matches will take place when Survivor Series goes live from Houston on Nov. 19, 2017.

Though the other matches seem fun, Bliss vs Natalya Bliss has the potential to be the most interesting. Bliss held the Raw Women's Championship since Aug. 28, 2017, after defeating Sasha Banks, who had previously taken the title from her at SummerSlam. Natalya has been the SmackDown Women's Champion since SummerSlam, defeating Naomi via submission to capture the title.

Bliss has quickly made a name for herself as one of the top female competitors since coming over from NXT. She's had excellent rivalries with the likes of Nia Jax, Sasha Banks, and Bayley. No doubt she'll be fronting the women's division for quite a while.

Meanwhile, Natalya (part of the legendary Hart wrestling family), has lived up to the family legacy. The two-time women's champion has done a good job building a name for herself as Bret Hart's niece.

Natalya and Bliss have yet to face off in a match, though they were a tag team against Carmella and Becky Lynch in a match that they lost on an episode of SmackDown last year.

With Natalya as the proven veteran and Bliss as an up-and-coming star, their bout at Survivor Series will have plenty of hype. There are two of the top talents on the roster, and the fact it'll be the first match between these two only adds to the intrigue.
