In the 33-year history of this annual November pay-per-view, numerous wrestlers have starred in a large number of truly epic and unforgettable matches. Regarding John Cena, he has competed in 11 matches at Survivor Series, won nine and lost two. Some Cena matches were spectacular, but others were not a big deal.

11 Vs. Kurt Angle, Carlito Caribbean Cool, Luther Reigns And Mark Jindrak (2004)

John Cena, The Big Show, Eddie Guerrero, Survivor Series 2004

For this match, John Cena teamed up with Rob Van Dam, The Big Show and Eddie Guerrero to crush Kurt Angle, Carlito Caribbean Cool, Luther Reigns and Mark Jindrak. In just over 12 minutes, the match had ended with John Cena, The Big Show, and Eddie Guerrero as survivors.

The victory was too easy for the team of Super Cena, who by the way could not eliminate any opponent and was not too decisive in the match, something unusual for him.

10 Vs. Team RAW (2017)

Raw vs SmackDown Survivor Series 2017

This match had all the potential to be sensational, but sadly it was a failure. Each team had exceptional wrestlers; Team RAW was made up of Braun Strowman, Finn Balor, Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, and Triple H, while Team SmackDown was made up of Bobby Roode, John Cena, Randy Orton, Shane McMahon & Shinsuke Nakamura.

The industry did not know how to take advantage of all the talent of the participants and made many bad decisions for the match, among which was giving excess prominence to Triple H.

The match was pretty loose and monotonous with a really bland outcome.

9 Vs. Team Authority (2014)

Team Cena vs Team Authority, Survivor Series

On November 23, 2014, at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, John Cena's team (Dolph Ziggler, The Big Show, Ryback, and Erick Rowan) faced off against Team Authority (Seth Rollins, Kane, Luke Harper, Mark Henry, and Rusev).

Dolph Ziggler stole the show by eliminating Kane, Luke Harper, and Seth Rollins. In the end, The Showoff became the sole survivor of the match.

It could be said that Super Cena went unnoticed in this matchup. Even though he was kept alive for 25 minutes, he could not eliminate anyone and was eliminated by Seth Rollins.

8 Vs. Alberto Del Rio (2013)

John Cena Vs Alberto Del Rio. Survivor Series

One month before Survivor Series 2013, Alberto Del Rio lost the World Heavyweight Title to John Cena at Hell In A Cell, so "La Esencia de la Excelencia" had his rematch, but unfortunately for him, The Doctor Of Thuganomics was not willing to drop the belt.

It was a good match, which was quite balanced from the beginning to the end. The denouement came when Del Rio applied the Cross Armbreaker and was about to win, but Cena managed to break free and counterattacked with the Attitude Adjustment to defeat Del Rio and retain the title.

7 Vs. Team Big Show (2006)

Team Cena vs Team Big Show

On this occasion, John Cena formed his own team (Bobby Lashley, Kane, Sabu, and Rob Van Dam) to face Team Big Show (The Big Show, Test, Finlay, Umaga, and Montel Vontavious Porter) in a traditional Survivor Series match.

The match ended after 12 minutes and 35 seconds when John Cena eliminated The Big Show after a good Spear F-U combination with Bobby Lashley.

The truth is that the match was good but not spectacular.

6 Vs. Team Lesnar (2003)

Team Angle vs Team Lesnar. Survivor Series 2003

On November 16, 2003, at the American Airlines Arena in Dallas, John Cena was part of Team Angle (along with Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit, Bradshaw, and Hardcore Holly) to face Team Lesnar (Brock Lesnar, The Big Show, Nathan Jones, Matt Morgan, and The A-Train) in the first match of that night.

The end of the match was very exciting, Chris Benoit eliminated Brock Lesnar with a Crippler Crossface and John Cena eliminated The Big Show with a powerful and accurate Attitude Adjustment.

5 Vs. CM Punk And Ryback (2012)

CM Punk vs John Cena and Ryback

At that time, CM Punk was in the prime of his career, he was already 363 days as WWE Champion and was practically invincible. However, John Cena and Ryback had the audacity to challenge him in a Triple Threat Match at Survivor Series 2012.

Both Ryback and Cena yearned for the belt and fought very well, CM Punk was in trouble for several minutes until Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose appeared to make sure Punk win and retain the title.

4 Vs. Chris Jericho (2008)

Cena defeated Chris Jericho in just over 21 minutes to win the World Heavyweight Championship for the first time in his career. The match was quite balanced and exciting, John Cena managed to escape from the deadly Liontamer on a couple of occasions and Jericho managed to block a Five Knuckle Shuffle and other Cena moves, but he could not do anything against the Attitude Adjustment.

3 Vs. Kurt Angle (2005)

Survivor Series. John Cena Vs. Kurt Angle

Kurt Angle and John Cena had an interesting feud since a few months before the event and the Olympic Hero had repeatedly tried to take the WWE Title from Cena. However, The Face That Runs The Place successfully defended the title despite having the referee (Daivari) against him.

This match was really crazy and exciting as many things happened, there was a lot of action, knocked out referees and treacherous attacks. But in the end, John Cena showed his greatness and nothing could prevent his victory.

2 Vs. Awesome Truth (2011)

The Rock and John Cena

This match was one of the most hyped in the entire history of Survivor Series, as The Rock returned to WWE (after over seven years) to team up with John Cena and face Awesome Truth (R-Truth and The Miz).

Truth be told, this match was great. A team made up of The Great One and John Cena is something we will only see once in a lifetime.

The match ended when The Rock applied The People's Elbow to The Miz. After the match, The Rock attacked Cena and the crowd went wild.

1 Vs. Shawn Michaels And Triple H (2009)

John Cena vs Triple H vs Shawn Michaels Survivor Series 2009

This was the main event of Survivor Series 2009, a Triple Threat Match between WWE Champion John Cena and D-Generation X members Shawn Michaels and Triple H.

The match began as electrifyingly with HBK's Sweet Chin Music to The Game, who took revenge a few minutes later by throwing Michaels against the table. There was a ton of action until John Cena applied the Attitude Adjustment to Michaels and threw him onto Triple H to win the match in an epic way.

Without a doubt, this was John Cena's best match at Survivor Series.
