After a 10-year absence, former ECW Champion and United States Champion Bobby Lashley made his WWE return on the Raw after WrestleMania, interrupting an in-ring segment from Elias. Lashley dominated The Drifter, executing a stalling suplex which received a resounding ovation.

The following week, Lashley was a part of a 10-man tag team match, partnering with Braun Strowman, Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, and Bobby Roode against The Miz, Bo Dallas, Curtis Axel, Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn. Lashley once again showed his dominance in the match, en route to his team winning. Although the fans have been welcoming to his comeback, one person feels that he is not properly being utilized.

On a recent episode of The Taz Show, fellow former ECW Champion Taz shared his thoughts on Lashley's WWE return so far.

"I absolutely disagree with what [WWE] did with Bobby [Lashley] on Raw, said Taz. "I have to tell you this. I was very disappointed in that Bobby, his second week back in the WWE, he is put in a [tag team match.] He had great teammates, he's in there in a 10-man tag, with Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, Braun Strowman, and Bobby Roode.

"They used Bobby Lashley like hogwash on Raw. That's what I'm so mad about. Come on, [WWE]. Guys, what are we doing? What are we doing? Why are you chucking Bobby Lashley, on week 2, week 2!, in a 10-man tag? Why? I don't get it."

Taz added that instead of putting Lashley in a 10-man tag, he needs a spotlight for several weeks to help his character, instead of sharing the light with others right now. If this 10-man tag match was four or five weeks down the road on Raw, Taz stated that he would not have a problem with it.

However, the issue of placing Lashley in a 10-man tag team, according to Taz, is that he is being reintroduced to a plethora of fans, some even new and younger fans, so he needs character development for the audience to see who he is and what he is about. What made matters worse is that Strowman took the pin over Miz instead of Lashley.
