"The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase became a legendary wrestler thanks to a brilliant gimmick executed to perfection. He played the role of the wealthy man buying whatever he wanted, including championships. DiBiase punctuated everything he did with an epic, maniacal laugh that became his signature.

Throughout his career, DiBiase was one of the business's top heels, putting him in incredible feuds with some of the best faces of his era. Even though he had many amazing matches, there were still quite a few names he never got the chance to compete with.

10 Kevin Nash

Ted DiBiase and Kevin Nash were frequently in the same company at the same time. They were in WWF together and even left for WCW around the same time. DiBiase started with WCW as the fourth member of the nWo, filling the role of their mouthpiece and financier.

However, Eric Bischoff would quickly take that over from DiBiase. For all their time in WWF and WCW, the two men never had a one-on-one match, which is a little surprising. By the time Nash was getting big, DiBiase was mostly managing.

9 Triple H

Back in the days of Hunter Hearst Helmsley, the blue blood character had some moments that were more than a little reminiscent of the "Million Dollar Man." They both had this "better than you" vibe to them which played well to their heel gimmicks.

But the two men never had the chance to face off. By the time Triple H was with WWF, DiBiase was retired from the ring due to an injury and working primarily as a manager. It would have been one hell of a match, though.

8 The Rock

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson was another guy who narrowly missed out on DiBiase due to his career-ending injury. DiBiase's, not The Rock's. Dwayne might be the healthiest human being who has ever existed.

There's something to be said for pitting the two of the greatest kayfabe egos in the history of the business against each other in the ring. DiBiase definitely would have tried to buy the services of The Rock and add him to one of his factions.

7 André The Giant

The career of the late André the Giant has reached a point that it's no longer legendary or iconic. The man is now virtually mythical in the world of wrestling, and rightfully so.

Despite a career as great of proportions as his was, one man he never appears to have faced was Ted DiBiase. They worked together frequently, but always on the same side as DiBiase would buy André's help in various matches. André even won him the WWF Championship for a price, but they never had a match, at least in a WWF ring.

6 MJF

This one is so far out of the realm of possibility that you can't even call it a missed opportunity. MJF was born after the point Ted DiBiase had to stop wrestling due to a neck injury. Still, this is certainly one of those dream matches that would have been amazing.

The match itself would have been great, but watching the two guys in a spend off to see who could buy the best team would have been hilarious. MJF is the closest modern wrestler to being analogous to "The Million Dollar Man."

5 Irwin R. Schyster

Much like André the Giant, Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster were teammates their entire run together in WWF. They were an incredibly dominant tag team in the early 1990s called Money Inc.

The duo held the WWF Tag Team Championships on three separate occasions. Despite how good they worked together as a duo, it would have been great to see I.R.S. and DiBiase face off in a WWF ring.

4 Savio Vega

As one of the most underrated WWF wrestlers of the 1990s, Savio Vega never got his due at the time. Despite putting on great matches, Vega didn't hold any championships in WWF during his entire run.

It was definitively a mistake not to give him at least one championship reign. While Savio and DiBiase never faced off, Vega did face his Million Dollar Champion, aka Steve Austin, in an angle that gave DiBiase a kayfabe reason to leave the WWF.

3 Steve Austin

After being fired from WCW, Steve Austin ended up in WWF. His first gimmick saw Austin being named The Ringmaster and was managed by Ted DiBiase. Austin eventually became DiBiase's Million Dollar Champion, carrying Ted's classic custom belt with him.

That gimmick didn't really work out, so Austin pushed for something new and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin was born. It's unfortunate that his relationship with DiBiase couldn't have ended in a match but that simply wasn't possible due to injuries.

2 Vince McMahon

After the "Million Dollar Man" departed the WWF, Vince McMahon was still best known as an announcer. Very few fans knew it was the owner of the company sitting ringside and calling the matches with the likes of "Macho Man" Randy Savage.

A few years later, Vince would be outed as the money man behind WWF and became one of the company's most prominent on-screen heels. Ted DiBiase versus Mr. McMahon could have been a very interesting match, pitting "The Million Dollar Man" against the billion-dollar McMahon.

1 Ted DiBiase Jr.

Eventually, all three of Ted DiBiase's children would become wrestlers, including Ted DiBiase Jr. He would be part of a faction called Legacy alongside Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes who would feud with a team made of Vince McMahon, Shane McMahon, and Triple H.

While it would have been nice to see father and son face off in the ring one time, it simply wasn't meant to be as Ted Jr. started wrestling well over a decade after his father retired.
