An argument could be made that Tegan Nox is the fastest-rising member of the NXT roster among both males and females. At NXT's presentation of The Great American Bash, Tegan earned a Women's Title shot against Io Shirai where she delivered the best performance of her career.

This is extra impressive when you consider the fact that Tegan has suffered multiple setbacks. Since arriving in NXT, the young star has had to undergo two major knee surgeries and has managed to come out on top. Over 215,000 fans follow her official Instagram account and they get to see gems like these.

10 Smackdown Debut

As great as NXT has been over the past few years, most of the talent there still dream about appearing on Raw or Smackdown. It makes sense since those are the shows they grew up with. To get to compete on something you once watched as a fan is incredibly special.

Tegan Nox got that opportunity ahead of Survivor Series 2019. She teamed with Rhea Ripley to take on Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville on an episode of Smackdown, picking up the win, which was chronicled here. Unfortunately, Tegan didn't get to wrestle on the PPV due to a kayfabe injury happening the night before.

9 Mae Young Classic

Tegan Nox missed the inaugural Mae Young Classic due to her first serious knee injury. She returned in time for the second one and was considered a favorite. In fact, she's the woman Michael Cole suggested that fans look out for on the premiere episode.

This picture sees Tegan showing off her country's flag in preparation for the tournament. She would make it far but that's when tragedy struck and she injured her other knee, taking another year of her career.

8 #TeamShinyCupKicks

It's always great to have friends in an industry like wrestling and Tegan Nox has two of the best. Although Candice LeRae and Dakota Kai have both gone a villainous route on television, they are all still close in real life.

Here, the three ladies bust out their best DX crotch chops. This friendship was known as #TeamShinyCupKicks, referencing Tegan's status as the "girl with the shiniest wizard," Candice's baking skills, and Dakota's use of stiff kicks. They were even featured in a WWE PC YouTube video.

7 The Return

WWE Network aired a documentary about Tegan's fight back from her injuries. In it, Dakota Kai noted that she struggled through one knee surgery and rehab, so she couldn't imagine doing it twice. That's what Tegan had to go through in consecutive years.

That's what makes this picture so special. It marks the first time that Tegan was able to step back into the ring. She captioned it, "I'm home!" in celebration of the fact that she was back to doing what she loves most.

6 Lady Kane

Fans have taken to calling Tegan Nox "Lady Kane." The whole thing stems from Tegan being a huge Kane fan growing up. She even geeked out when talking to him on an episode of The Bump.

Tegan also tends to do do some of Kane's signature offense during her matches. Most notably, she'll deliver a chokeslam from time to time. This post doesn't show her doing that but the caption features lyrics from Kane's old theme song, "Slow Chemical."

5 #FlyKicks

As much as #TeamShinyCupKicks are great, nothing beats the original. Tegan Nox and Dakota Kai are best friends and when they teamed together, they were known as #TeamFlyKicks. This is one of their many great pictures together.

What makes this particular one so special is that it comes from a little while before they broke up. Not only that, but this was also around the time that they competed for the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles, in one of the best matches of that title's history.

4 Captain Marvel

If there's one thing that Tegan Nox adores more than Kane, it's the film Captain Marvel. Released in 2019, Tegan fell in love with the Marvel Cinematic Universe entry. While struggling with her rehab, Tegan explained that she found strength in such an empowering character and film.

Her fandom reached a point where she appeared on UpUpDwnDwn and made a plea to appear in the sequel, even if it's just as a stunt double who Brie Larson gets to beat up. Tegan also adopted things like the superhero's logo into her gear, as seen here.

3 Betrayal

Just because it's Tegan Nox's best Instagram posts, that doesn't it has to be a positive photo for her. This one is a chilling image from TakeOver: War Games. It was supposed to be Tegan and Dakota's big night and their first TakeOver appearance.

However, Dakota turned on Tegan and brutalized her knee, splitting apart their friendship and partnership. Tegan used this photo and included a caption describing the heartbreak that she felt at this betrayal.

2 Anniversary

Recently, the two year anniversary came up of Tegan Nox's second knee injury. This was the one that happened on TV, during the Mae Young Classic. Watching it unfold is one of the saddest things to ever happen in a wrestling ring.

As Tegan explained it, her knee exploded. The Instagram post showed her in pain but also included a second photo that shows how far she has come. From her career possibly being over to being a top star in the world's best women's division, Tegan can't be stopped.

1 Coming Out

Without question, this is the best thing to ever come from Tegan Nox's Instagram account. At first glance, it didn't seem like anything special. It just showed her and another woman wearing masks and enjoying each other's company. However, fans quickly noted the rainbow-colored hearts in the caption.

This was indeed Tegan Nox's way of officially coming out as gay to the world. Fans fell in love with this post and supported her, as did other wrestlers. There's more LGBTQ representation in wrestling than ever before with the likes of Sonya Deville, Jake Atlas, and Sonny Kiss, among others. Tegan Nox proudly joins them.
